This is yet another aspect of the 2024 race where the normal rules don’t quite apply. Candidates typically want a potential vice president who can “balance” the ticket demographically, ideologically, or geographically. Even Trump succumbed to this thinking in 2016: Mike Pence got the gig because he was a boring, midwestern, ultraconservative Christian with some governing experience — basically the opposite of the erratic, boorish New York TV personality. But this concession to the RNC ultimately backfired (in Trump’s mind) because Pence wouldn’t participate in his January 6 coup attempt. Now that Trump’s GOP takeover is complete, he’s free to...

So said Hashem (The Name of G-d): For 3 transgressions of Gaza, yea for 4, I will not return them; Because they carried away captive a whole captivity, to deliver to Edom. 7 I will send fire into the wall of Gaza, and it shall consume its palaces (ANow that we are about to enter Rafiah, you should know that the SECRET of the Geulah (Deliverance of the Jews) is dependent upon the “birur” (sifting, winnowing) of the sparks of RAFAH (RPH are the consonants). Rafiah (as it is called in Hebrew) is not the city’s name; in Arabic it...

If I were hurtling down a rabbit-hole and a genie offered me one wish, I would likely request a tour guide. Now tell me that the past ten months haven’t taken us all on a dizzying Ozian spin. Look out the window of your space capsule and you’ll find you’ve entered an insanely adversarial universe, one in which the major preoccupation of far too many people is ”Who’s on my side and who’s against me?” Problem is, the adversarial universe is swiftly heading for cosmic implosion. It’s eating up civilization as we know it before our very eyes. Tell me...

Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.

God’s Perfect Knowledge of Man For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. 139 O Lord, You have searched me and known me. 2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. 3 You [a]comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. 5 You have [b]hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot...

"There Isn't A Country In The World That Wants To Be Cut Off From China; America Is Trying To Control Other Countries" "There is no reason for us to fear the American hostility, because pulling out of the old system and building an exclusive one is impossible. Globalization is inevitable. There isn't a country in the world that wants to be cut off from China. America is trying to control other countries with its strategy. This reflects America's disrespect towards others. These attempts are not in keeping with the progress of the world. Therefore, China must be confident and fear...

Psalm 91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by...

As the Black Lives Matter dominates the streets of America, an alternative grassroots movement is rising up in response, calling for an end to the greatest killer of black people in America: abortion. On Sunday, Melissa A., a black supporter of President Trump with a strong social media presence, called for an alternative social movement called #AllBlackLivesMatter. A self-described “Conservative, Trumpublican, Wife, mother and Child of the Most High God, Retweeted By President Trump”, Melissa A. stated that the #BlackLivesMatter movement currently in the forefront of the protests is acting in partisan political interests that do not address the very...

The racially motivated protests and riots taking place in the wake of the horrific murder of George Floyd have elicited an unusual response. Many people, including prominent politicians and law enforcement officials, have “taken the knee” in acquiescence to or in complete agreement with the claims of the protesters that America, and in particular the police are racist. One example was Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison who took a knee when confronted by a protest last Monday. Bettison performed the ritual at the insistence of “angry protesters.” Bettison did so despite the gesture being in contravention of department protocols, for...

Anti-fascist action, more popularly known as “antifa”, can be best described as international socialism on amphetamines. Driven by progressive ideology and “workers’ rights”, it has adopted violence and intimidation as a tactic to quash conservatives and nationalists – in Australia, Europe and, most recently, the US. Antifa, or militant progressives, have always existed and flourished in democracies. Militant progressives were part of the the 1960s and 1970s counter-culture, and were active during the anti-globalisation protests of the 1990s and 2000s. It is difficult to accurately state when antifa began. It is more of an evolution of progressive militancy than a...

NSURGENCY 1-1.This is an organized movement aimed at the overthrow of a constituted government through use of subversion and armed conflict (JP 1-02). The key distinction between an insurgency and other movements is the decision to use violence to achieve political goals. An insurgency is typically an internal struggle within a state, not between states. It is normally a protracted political and military struggle designed to weaken the existing government’s power, control, and legitimacy, while increasing the insurgency’s power, control, and legitimacy. 1-2.The majority of insurgencies have been limited to local regions or specific countries. However, today’s instant communications allow insurgent...

One day after voicing his disagreement with players who do not stand during the national anthem, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees issued an apology on Instagram, saying his comments “were insensitive and completely missed the mark on the issues we are facing right now as a country.”

When prominent people die, the press publishes "obituaries," reports of their deaths and a summary of their lives. I recently read a New York Times obituary that accidentally summarized the last years of The New York Times, a once great newspaper. The Times obit was meant to be about Dr. S. Fred Singer, a noted scientist, prolific writer (including at American Thinker), and prominent critic of popular climate change models that contend that man has heated up the Earth. The entire N.Y. Times report — including a snooty and biased headline — was not a factual account, but an ideological...

he United States reached two grim milestones on Thursday: Fatalities from covid-19 topped 1,000, and it became the country with the most confirmed cases of coronavirus, surpassing China with more than 82,000. (Keep in mind, there is reason to doubt that China’s tally is accurate, absent a free media or independent verification from an international organization.) We are only at the beginning of the deadly pandemic that President Trump once promised would “completely disappear.” Trump once promised that 15 initial cases would go down to zero but, of course, that was either a deliberate untruth or ignorance magnified by denial....

Rabbi Yehuda Richter of Kfar Tapuach (Apple Village) delivered a lecture on the subject of Coronavirus. Throughout the lecture, the rabbi made several comparisons between the Coronavirus Era and the Book of Ezekiel. Most notably, Ezekiel 36:34: and the desolate land, after lying waste in the sight of every passerby, shall again be tilled. (Ezekiel 36:34) Rabbi Richter relates that this prophecy is happening as we speak saying: “you look out in the streets you look out in the streets of America, in the world, in Europe. in Italy they’re desolate” He explains that the reason for the desolation relates...

Here’s the general rule: It is praiseworthy to be stringent on Passover. In fact, the Arizal states, “One who is careful about the most minuscule amount of chametz on Pesach is guaranteed not to sin the entire year.” It is partially based on this that many are extra stringent. Nevertheless, keep in mind that dust isn’t chametz (“leaven”). The main purpose of cleaning and searching for chametz is to remove any of it that one may come to inadvertently eat or derive benefit from during Passover. This obligation of getting rid of chametz does not extend to inedible chametz, or...

Letter to the Editor: My belief is that when Vladimir Putin took power in Russia, he was disgusted at the collapse of the Soviet Union and the decline of Russian power. He decided on a strategy to bring the United States down and build Russia back up. He devised a plan that is working well. He would not attack the U.S. militarily but attack by sowing division to weaken our republic. He is succeeding and many citizens in this country either don’t know it or don’t care. Putin cares nothing for President Trump but he knew how divisive this man...

Democratic president candidate Michael Bloomberg drew mockery from both sides of the ideological spectrum after a viral clip of him showed the billionaire media tycoon belittling farming at a 2016 business school talk and contrasting it with the “gray matter” necessary to work in the modern information economy. Bloomberg’s 2016 comments during a sit-down discussion at Oxford’s Said Business School gained attention after a Twitter account with the handle, Pete Mentes, posted a one-minute snippet of the former New York City mayor — who has never farmed — claiming “I could teach anybody in this room” to be a farmer....

Now that Bernie Sanders—once an obscure socialist senator from Vermont—is officially the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, it is time to confront what that means. It does not mean the U.S. is flirting with socialism. That’s not going to happen. The meaning of Bernie’s ascent is that the Democratic Party, older even than he is, has simply run out of gas. The Democrats resemble Europe’s aging political parties—Britain’s Labour, France’s Socialists, Germany’s Social Democrats and Christian Democrats. All have simply deflated with voters. Signs of public fatigue with the Democrats could be seen in Iowa and New Hampshire. Besides...
