My beloved had a plaque with that question on it.
It was placed front and center in our front room.
After his passing I kept it front and center in that room.

I cannot begin to tell you the number of men (techs, service men) who questioned my allowing it to be there in the first place and even after his passing. LOL

The few women who were in our close circle would always agree it was my husband’s very frank opinion of women. LOL

The joy of opinion discussion, however, made our 35 years of marriage so interesting!!

If he was diagnosed with any type of mental illness and his stepmother didn’t keep her armaments locked up - literally out of his ability to get to them - she needs to be charged.

I don’t care if he’s an adult.

If SHE knew he had any type of mental illness and allowed him access to her armaments she absolutely needs to be held accountable.

Such stupidity and arrogance on her part.

Disclaimer: I was raised in the Catholic Church. Christ was not put forth in any particular Catholic Church as what He is: Savior. I will accept it was in the late 60s and early to mid-70s when the Catholic Church was really rampant.

In the many talks/dealings/discussions I had with priests they would always say man still had to make amends. I would ask them the ‘why’ of it when the Blood of the Lamb was for the atonement. Either as the sacrifice in the Old Testament it was complete, or it was not and if so, not a true sacrifice as in the Old Testament. This is not to say the LORD God overlooked the physical reactions caused by sin, for which He most assuredly did not.

That’s when the ‘Angels dancing on the head of a pin,’ part of the belief system would come into discussion.

The ‘Angel’s’ point would also be brought out when the subject of babies passing prior to baptizing. Priests, nuns, non-Catholics would often wonder why mothers of stillborns and babies who passed prior to baptizing would go insane.

It’s not a wonder: After being told your child would be separated from the wonderous Light of the LORD God and His Son and Holy Spirit.... because it wasn’t baptized before passing...?

There are many traditions (man-made, not God instructed) within the Catholic Church that can both keep Catholics miserable and keep Catholics focused on traditional acts and not the True faith of Jesus as LORD and Savior.

I don’t doubt there are millions who love and accept Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior in the Catholic Church. May the LORD God keep them in the palm of His hands.

The smallest, least offensive to any person (sin) you have done in your life is no less than the most terrible Sammy the Bull has done via the Blood of Christ.

It may not make sense, and it surely doesn’t have to make us comfortable.

Only one sin is not accepted by the LORD God: Often called Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, or Rejection of the Holy Spirit. That is to refuse to accept the LORD God’s grace and truth.

I get so angry (daily) and ashamedly, I might add and must remind myself the smallest sin I have ever done is as great as any that drove the Thorn in the forehead of Christ.

It’s not to say we may not have justified anger, just that it’s a very slippery slope.

I do believe in the justice of mortal man, up to and including the death sentence.

Oh, how the loss of a loved one is feared so much prior to the acceptance of Jesus as LORD and Savior!

More than any physical pain could cause the Christian spouse, is the knowledge the beloved partner is yet without the love and grace of Jesus.

May the LORD God keep your beloved earthbound towards the time of acceptance of Jesus as his LORD and Savior.

May you have the courage and grace in whatever condition your beloved’s earthly body may be during the time of his acceptance.

I think whatever name was used by those who looked forward the enactment of the LORD God’s promise would be accepted by the LORD God and not a stumbling block.

Your thought is a good one, for sure.

Most likely the stumbling block as it were would have been for those who only went through the actions of sacrifice and did not carry the LORD God’s instructions in the heart.

I humbly accept the theory you put forward.

When my youngest was only 5 he was hospitalized for breathing issues. I was surprised when his language development was commented upon by the nurses. Apparently, he was speaking in terms years above the normal range.

I advised the nurses I spoke and read to him in adult terms only.

If the article is correct (I know, a really big IF), the woman is said to have accepted the treatment for termination of the baby’s life.

If I were on the jury it wouldn’t matter if the midwife was legal or not: The woman accepted to treatment to kill her unborn child. The woman may have buyer’s remorse for a financial gain... sigh.

So many reasons no one would want me on any jury.

It doesn’t provide the ‘get out of jail card.’

Correction: It shouldn’t provide the ‘get out of jail card,’ for those who violate the health, and trust of those in their care.

I’m not addressing the jail sentence.

I’m speaking more to the inability of people to look at acts done by people on a rational basis.

A great deal of the harm being done to this country are the direct results of folks making excuses for acts that were wrong because of familial ties causing the inability to view the criminal acts as they affected the victims.

Allow me to present this incident from another perspective, if you will...

The fraud he was convicted of most likely also included having tests run on patients who did not need those tests.

Now, imagine what he had to tell those patients about their health status in order to convince them to take those addition.

Imagine what those patients had to endure while waiting for those test results... And it wasn’t just one patient... it could have been dozens, or hundreds.

Imagine what emotional impact his ‘greed’ caused his patients and the relatives.

From a woman’s point of view, I believe if the women had zero make-up on both women would simply be of average looks.

Whilst in the military I knew a young woman whose beauty was as if she were Snow White walking around in real life. This young woman wore no make-up at all. None. Zip. Nada.

Only thing she ever wore make-up wise was clear lip balm.

She was very down to earth and humble. She also told me she cried herself to sleep many, many nights.

Why? The men around her all thought she was taken by a guy back home because she was simply that beautifl and they never even tried to approach her.

I think of her often and hope she found a lasting love.

There were so few young humble women like her at that time and most likely even less, now.

Literally, like Snow White. Simply breath-taking beautiful and humble.

Even now I am in awe of her physical and inner beauty.
