“Rojas reportedly recommended a treatment to terminate the pregnancy, which the woman said she accepted, believing she was following sound medical advice.”

If the article is correct (I know, a really big IF), the woman is said to have accepted the treatment for termination of the baby’s life.

If I were on the jury it wouldn’t matter if the midwife was legal or not: The woman accepted to treatment to kill her unborn child. The woman may have buyer’s remorse for a financial gain... sigh.

So many reasons no one would want me on any jury.

It may have been a language problem, if he used the word terminate for a woman who didn’t know English well.
