As Twitchy readers know, the Supreme Court ruled against activist federal judges standing in the way of the Trump administration.
What you all may not know is just how badly Amy Coney Barrett NUKED Ketanji Brown Jackson.
"“We will not dwell on Justice Jackson’s argument, which is at odds with more than two centuries worth of precedent, not to mention the Constitution itself. We observe only this: Justice Jackson decries an imperial Executive while embracing an imperial Judiciary.”
In other words, Ketanji is too dumb to even bother with.
Okay, that's going to leave a mark.
Oooh, the her usage of 'imperial' is pretty damn brilliant.

I am thinking that there must have been a cat fight between ACB and her sorority sisters at the court. ACB Got mad and decided to teach them a lesson by actually making some good rulings.
Heard today- the ruling just delays the verdict until monday when the three dissenters on the SC will re-present the issue to the court and try to make their case- if so- this isn’t finalized yet, but I doubt the three can make their case- it’s pretty clear they are on the wrong side of the issue per usual
Also ties into the recent “no kings” stuff, to which Djt responded “thank you, there are still no kings “
It sounds like ACB is getting fed up with her stupid liberal colleague who can’t even define what a woman is.
Maybe that happened. We never know what happens behind the scenes.
But I know there’s been so much speculation, how Amy Coney Barrett wanted to fit in with the girls, etc. And that her wanting to be accepted by the liberal women on the court, made her issue some less than conservative rulings.
And of course, I don’t read and pick apart every single Supreme Court decision. But I never recall hearing how one justice directly criticized another justice’s opinion by name. Maybe there is something personal going on behind the scenes.
The thing is, before publication the various opinions are circulated to all the Justices. And Jackson stuck to her guns. She didn’t moderate. That is dumbfounding.
Another testimonial to the subpar work of RINOS like Collins, Murkowski, and Romney in the US Senate. These fools voted to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to a lifetime position on the SCOTUS.
The final vote on the nomination was 53-47.
Dems are still seething over losing and are unable go cope with the Court deciding, “No. You cannot have your district court judges protect your open borders agenda.”
Every order by the inferior federal court judges these past five months blocking the executive branch has been transparently political.
I've never heard of SCOTUS rehearing a case after they release their ruling opinion and dissent. I believe today was the last day of this session. They don't come back until October. So KBJ is going to have to take the L and stew. She'll probably make some nasty comments in articles and speeches.

ACB gets a lot of scorn, but do remember she was mentored by Scalia, which has got to have some lasting impact.
I had not thought about that. ACB essentially wrote that Jackson is too stupid to be on SCOTUS and Jackson saw that in advance, but didn't change her dissent. Which, I suppose, further reinforces ACB's opinion.
She blowed up real good.

lets hope shes like most women and can remember and hold a grudge forever.. I have been married 20 years now and she still reminds me of my screw ups 19.9 years ago (and no. marrying her isn’t one of them... yes.. shes in the room with me)
