A pregnant woman is making a heartfelt plea to bring her husband home before the birth of their baby.
Gennadiy Glushchuk, a Christian pastor in Los Angeles, was detained two weeks ago by ICE agents in downtown during a routine immigration check-in.
Gennadiy was born in the former Soviet Union and is not a US Citizen. He moved to the US in 1995 at the age of 10 and grew up in the Hollywood area with his mom.
Gennadiy is a local pastor, husband, and father of two, with a third on the way. But he has a past… he spent 13 years in prison, including a punishment for armed robbery.
Since 2009, he's been on supervised visits and every year he has been allowed to stay, except for this year. Federal agents are currently holding him in El Paso, Texas.
He lost his green card after a run in with the law. He has been living under supervised release for over 15 years. He was allowed to stay because Ukraine wouldn't take him back.

He can be deported to a country other than Ukraine if they won't take him back.
More ice please.
Oh boo hoo hoo.
Lots more!
Oh, no!
Anyway...
Ukraine won’t take him back???!!??
I’d think that Zelenskyy would welcome back anyone who, like him, robbed Americans.
And besides, He needs him at the Russian Front.
That is one convoluted headline. ICE is holding a pastor while a pregnant woman’s husband is not being released from somewhere. And there is a baby going to be born. That’s a lot going on.
"And now, for the rest of the story..."
when the Rats aren’t promoting abortion

If Ukraine, which is scraping the bottom of the barrel to find a warm body that still has blood in it don’t want this dude back, that says something.
If I’m not a citizen, I’m a lot like a guest.
If I misbehave as a guest in someones home, I might get asked to leave.
That is actually expected. Not really something “shocking.”
You can go with him, Hon.
An ILLEGAL ALIEN “Christian pastor’? Does anyone else see the contradiction?
How can a man of God live word? In such a blatant manner and yet preach the sord?
Dear Fox Los Angeles,
LA already has one LA Slimes. That’s one too many.
Don’t need another one.
Thank you.
Exactly.
When he turned 18, he could have taken the steps to apply for citizenship.
Too bad he was more interested in committing armed robbery.
And quite the past, too.
I mean, anyone can get saved and turn their lives around.
But it doesn’t sound like he’s done much turning his life around in spite of being a pastor.
And the MSM is scraping the bottom of the barrel if this is the best they can do for a new poster child for letting illegals stay.
I guess they figure if they can find someone who calls himself a pastor and detain him, they'll get the right to support them since they generally tend to be pro-Christian.
But unlike them, where protected class victim status trumps all, calling oneself a pastor and not living it, does not do that for the right.
I absolutely agree with you, and imho it is just basic courtesy to respect the country wherein you reside.
Thus, all the crimes of immigrants - especially of those who were given shelter from persecution in their native countries, from whom at least a bit of gratitude could reasonably be expected - really boils my blood 🤬
