The Left pressured the weakling Scottsdale Police chief and courts to drop the charges, but I haven't forgotten the actions of a real insurrectionist and enemy of the Republic:
What good intentions? The intention is replacement of evil capitalist restaurants with government food distribution by government employees being paid a mandated wage.
Them? They are bringing in Muslims to kill us! They think that once Western Civilization is flattened, they can buy off the invaders with social welfare benefits and establish absolute rule over the new low-IQ majority.
If the money supply expands faster than the real value of the goods and services inflation explodes. Period. End of story. There is no magic money machine, and never will be.
When this is pointed out to people like Bernstein they immediately start talking like Atlas Shrugged villains: “You have to consider the human element! Facts never put food on the table!”
Stephen Colbert exists to provide wise ass comments that short circuit thinking among his target audience. Young people can quote him the next day and feel like subject matter experts - without ever having to do anything hard like reading.
The media would turn Carson into a black Sarah Palin overnight. The VP is going to have to be a razor-sharp thinker and speaker who can defend Trump against liars and advocate for his agenda with great verbal fluency.
"The larger problem is that there isn't enough new construction being built to meet demand from Gen Zers and millennials or from baby boomers who would want to downsize in retirement."
This should have been the actual lead/headline. Characterizing the problem as greedy Boomers holding on to more square footage than they "need" is a Communist attempt at misdirection, since Communist zoning and building restrictions are the problem.
The C919 is actually an Airbus A320 knockoff - it even requires many European-manufactured parts, including the engines because China cannot build similar turbofans yet.
It will attract Asian airlines who cannot afford the long wait times for new Airbus aircraft and are willing to gamble a little to get the better prices and delivery dates.
But I’m here in China now and didn’t see any C919s in service at the airport . Chinese airlines are all Boeing and Airbus at the moment. Air Koryo (North Korea) needs a whole new fleet - maybe they could become the C919’s primary operator and the world can see how it works, first. :)
