If Trump wants to gain even more supporters, he needs to FULLY go after the H-1B racket and outright can it.

Almost every one of them is fraudulent because they do not even try to hire an American.

These businesses aren't asking to follow good business practices: they're asking to be allowed to break the law.

And while were at it let’s cut immigration to 250,000 per year like before Ted Kennedy omitted treason.

Corporations in capitalist system choose what’s best for stock holders. In fascism companies are required to follow what the government orders them to do.

Because they are cheap indentured servants is the obvious answer.

The real question is why Team Trump hasn’t completely shut the travesty down by now.

Yes! As layoffs occur, the H1b slots of those companies should diminish 1to 1.

Has any other country in the world brought in non-citizens to take the jobs of its own citizens?

I’ve got an even BETTER idea: Cut immigration to ZERO until we get a handle on what THE USA REALLY NEEDS IN THE WAY OF WORKERS!

BEEN DONE BEFORE!

He's got big GOP donors screaming at him to expand it. He needs advice on the issue from outside the Big Tech consortium.

Every government in the world controls immigration and work permits for immigrants.

Only ours uses that control to undermine wages and employment prospects for its own citizens.

The aystem is so corrupt. If 80% of jobs in some industries are expected to be cut (tech, data science, etc) the H1-B cap should be cut to ZERO. But we all know it won’t.

Corporations in capitalist system choose what’s best for stock holders. In fascism companies are required to follow what the government orders them to do.

I guess that's why so many corporations went all in with DEI. Because it was what was "best" for the stock holders.

Hmm. What was that about fascism again?

I believe Microsoft has had three lay offs in the last 12 months.

The new one is for 9,000 employees, which is 4% of its total work force.

One other fact about H-1B that few USA voters understand...

If Microsoft agrees to sponsor a H-1B for a Green Card (Permanent USA residence), the worker is removed from the H-1B quota.

What an elite company like Microsoft does is employ a H-1B for six years (5 renewal years - usually automatic).

Then, they sponsor the H-1B for a Green Card, which can take up to 5 more years.

Bottom Line - for up to 11 years, the H-1B is like an indentured servant.

Finally - what happens when Asian Indian code writers become USA citizens?

70%-80% vote Democrat!

H1B is a complete and total scam

H1B is to skilled labor., what illegals are to unskilled labor.

Period

Incorrect. Use your common sense at least. DEI was a big push from Biden regime, and governors in ALL blue states. Large Corporations depend on favorable laws by governments & spending by governments. It was fascism pure & simple. What Trump is doing is nascent corporatism.

Wrong! Corporations are doing better than ever. That is NOT ruining country.
Corporations are heart & soul of capitalism. Under capitalism, corporations are obligated to their stock holders, not IT workers. May be you hate capitalism.
