Civil Rights Commission Squabble Now Involves Staff Director By Jeff Johnson CNSNews.com Congressional Bureau Chief January 08, 2002 (CNSNews.com) - Former U.S. Civil Rights Commissioner Victoria Wilson, whose refusal to vacate her expired seat has triggered a legal battle with the Bush White House, finds support for her position in a memo written by the commission's staff director. In the memo dated Dec. 21, 2001, Staff Director Les Jin claimed, "At the December 7, 2001, meeting, the Commission reaffirmed its position that all Commissioners serve six-year terms. Thus, the Commission reaffirmed that Commissioner Victoria Wilson's term did not expire ...

Here's my last contribution to the local fishwrapper before the Bush landslide. Short, sweet, and to the point, I believe it sums up this election in three short paragraphs. To the editor: In the past few weeks George W. Bush has received the endorsements of, among others, retired Generals H. Norman Schwarzkopf and Colin Powell, the Fraternal Order of Police, and 50 Congressional Medal of Honor recipients. Algore has been endorsed by Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt, the totalitarian government of the Peoples' Republic of China, and just this past weekend by the Communist Party USA. Momma always told me folks ...

"...You propose to establish a social order based on the following tenets: that you're incompetent to run your own life, but competent to run the lives of others - that you're unfit to exist in freedom, but fit to become an omnipotent ruler - that you're unable to earn your living by the use of your own intelligence, but able to judge politicians and vote them into jobs of total power over arts you have never seen, over sciences you have never studied, over achievements of which you have no knowledge, over the gigantic industries where you, by your own ...

ME MUDDER When me prayers were early said, Who tucked me in me widdle bed? Who spanked me widdle ass Till it was red? Me Mudder Who lifted me from me cozy cot, And set me on the ice cold pot, And made me pee if I could not? Me Mudder And when the morning light had come, and in me bed I'd dribbled some Who wiped me tiny widdle bum? Me Mudder Who did me hair so neatly part, And press me gently to her heart And sometimes squeezed me till I'd fart? Me Mudder HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY!

The Nashville Tennessean (a.k.a. Pravda On The Cumberland) ran a horrendous one-sided article on the Million Moron March in Sunday's paper. As of today there had been no rebuttal in the letters, so I just sent this one: To The Editor Once again, in the finest spirit of Pravda and Isvestia, The Sunday Tennessean presented a one-sided and factually challenged story about the upcoming "Million Moms March" against firearm owners. First, there was absolutely no mention of a counter demonstration to be held at the same time on the opposite side of the Mall in Washington by a group called ...

Subj: Johnny Chung on The Phil Valentine Show From: philvalentine@home.com (The Phil Valentine Show) Reply-to: philvalentine@home.com Dear FOP: Johnny Chung, one of the central figures in the Chinagate scandal, will be Phil's guest in the 5:00PM hour on Wednesday December 29th. Mr. Chung will talk about the money he passed along to the DNC from the Chinese and the recent attempts on his life among other interesting points. You can catch The Phil Valentine Show on 1510 AM WLAC. Those of you outside the Nashville area can most likely pick up the 50,000 watt signal at that time of day. ...

I just got home from a short trip which took me across Smith County, Tennessee, ersatz home of Algore (when he took a break from the penthouse of the Fairfax Hotel in D.C.). Some twenty miles of this little sojourn were on 2-lane highways which were main thoroughfares across the county before I-40. Freepers might be amused to know that in this 20 miles or so across the GoreBachev heartland, I saw exactly ZERO "Gore for President" or other similar signs along the highway! [While I didn't go through beautiful (gag) downtown Carthage, I did skirt around the north and ...

Well, it's Monday evening and West Point, Kentucky just ended three days with hundreds of folks running around with (gasp!) ASSAULT WEAPONS and larger ordnance. And guess what? Nobody was killed and nobody went on any shooting sprees (except at old refrigerators and industrial wire spools). But-but-but these were all people that the democraps call "dangerous right-wing fanatic lunatic gun nuts". According to Klintoon and Co, everyone who attended should be dead or badly wounded by now. Seemed to be a right civilized group to me. Kinda supports the NRA position that "guns don't kill people, people kill people", doesn't ...

Offered for Freeper critique before I send it to the paper, here's my latest effort. The person this letter is directed toward is a dear little old yellow dog democrat who defends Komrade Klinton at every turn. The last paragraph almost seems too strong even to me, but apparantly the only way to get these people's attention is to hit them squarely between the eyes with the cold, hard truth.Any comments? To the editor: In a letter published on Friday, July 23, Mrs.----- ------- admonished us to remember the democrats in the next election. Don't worry, Mrs. -------, I will. ...
