OK, boys and girls. Time once again to watch the Million Moron Marchers suck their thumbs and Kerry-like girlie men wet their pants! The bi-annual Knob Creek Machime Gun Shoot will be held this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Knob Creek Gun Range in West Point, Ky. Hundreds of freedom-loving Americans running around the forests of Northern Kentucky with fully auto matic weapons and nobody gets killed or even hurt (at least not firearm-related injuries).

Kerry wins, that will be the last time for that kind of American activity. Remember, it is more important to disarm Americans, than to disarm terrorist.

Who can afford those things? Then once you start firing, think of the ammo. Sheesh!

This thread has just added to the FreeRepublic "bang list" (firearms interest list) by adding the keyword "banglist".
Any time a firearms-related thread is created on FreeRepublic, please be sure to add the "banglist" keyword to it so that interested FReepers don't miss it.

IF I go, and just want to watch, are there things for observors?
If I go, and would like to shoot a machine gun, will there be onsight rentals, lessons, and that sort of interactive activities?
This sounds so interesting!

One of my most interesting memories - the year was 1991. I saw a guy blow away probably $1000 worth of ammo using his MAC-11. Only at Knob Creek! ;)

The answer is yes to all your questions. There will be a firing line of everything from .50 cal. Brownings to Thompson submachine guns. For a real blast, come sunset they break out the flamethrowers. The only limit is the size of your wallet.
Most of us who have attended in the past content ourselves with watching, browsing, and buying ammo, politically incorrect bumper stickers and posters, and "stuff" for our personal use. Last trip I picked up a nice pair of shooters earmuffs for about 7 bucks and some surplus .45ACP for a dime a round. I was going to buy a new hunting bow until logos explained to me that the girl at the archery display didn't come with it.
