Free Republic

I posted a thread and it was pulled. The reason the "sidebar moderator" gave was "pulled." It talked about legal oppression and Scientology in the United States. What happened to freedom of speech? Isn't it part of a "Free Republic"? It appears this site has an agenda to keep discussion of the dangers of Scientology off the agenda. Yet, it seems like just about anything else can be discussed. So, is this site run by Scientologists? Or have they infiltrated a moderator or two? Or just scared of them? A year ago, it was okay to talk about this subject.

I have been reading worldnetdaily.com since 9/11. They seem to be more timely with news than most (freerepublic.com the exception--this site is faster than the majority most of the time). WND's motto is "A free press for a free people" and they seem to address issues the mainstream press neglects. Good so far.
