London - Policemen have detained two suspected terrorists in London today. Two officers had become suspicious when two men trained their attention on the officers. According to several witnesses, one suspect was described as gruff, plain clothed and holding a large camera. The second suspect was described as well dressed, well groomed and holding a microphone. Both suspects were apprehended by brute force while exiting a large white van packed with high tech communications equipment, presumably part of a vast Al Qaida network.

"To my father and to my mother, this is the ultimate in being an Islamic family because to them, dying all of us in the war against America, you know, is just being the top family because we all died in a way, you know, in fighting against American you know. Can you ask for more than that?"
Well, no. But it is more than fighting a war against the Northern Alliance.

Considering the sources here are from retired agents, I was swayed to share the same gut feeling on the article as yourself. Despite some problems, an all out Bush attack through a re-election bid would be career suicide for the agency, I would think. Considering, if I'm not mistaken, Kerry wants to create a completely new domestic spy agency.
