That looks for all the world like a value judgement. I didn't know Canadians were allowed to make those. Maybe there's hope after all.

There are canadians and then there are Canadians. I remember well how a group of Canadian diplomats smuggled 4-5 Americans out of Iran when the US embassy was taken over. Those Canadians risked their freedom and possibly their lives to save the Americans.
They are not all french-flavored socialists.

I will say this once again. DO NOT be disparaging of our Canadian friends. Remember the Devils Brigade? Have we forgotten the fact that the Canadians currently hold the RECORD for the longest distance confirmed sniper kill.
I have trained with the Canadians and would be happy to share a foxhole with them.
