Mark Levin opened his show tonight saying that a certain Republican Congressman who doesn’t like what he’s saying is trying to get the local affiliate in their district to stop running the Mark Levin Show. And apparently they are trying to do it behind the scenes. But Levin says EVERYTHING gets back to him and he will not tolerate fascism.

For today's lesson in "How to Lose a War," let's consider the case of Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto in World War II and compare it to the case of Nawab Buntangyar in what some consider to be World War III today. But first, consider this all-too-common report in the New York Times this week out of Nad Ali, Afghanistan: "A suicide bomber wrapped in explosives walked into a crowded government building.and blew himself up, killing at least seven people, four of them police officers. Six people were wounded." OK, back to the lesson. Admiral Yamamoto commanded the Japanese Navy and...

The following are copys of e-mails that I've sent to my employees up North (I live in Florida now), and Jim Robinson... "Re: What's goin' on... To Jim Robinson | 10/19/2006 4:43:47 AM EDT sent Howdy Jim. Barry/gonzo here. What follows is an e-mail that I sent to my troops up North at my Company in South Bend, Indiana. They're a bunch of rabid VRWC buffs, and they wanted my take on world events, after I had warned them to 'keep their powder dry'.A few days later, I sent this to Jim:BTW, Jim, those TU-142's are actually TU-95's, an upgraded...

Prayers requested for the family of Raymond O'Donnell, my Father-in-Law, who passed away November 7, 2006 in Plant City, Florida. He was a World War II combat veteran, one of our finest generation, that made possible the freedoms that we all enjoy today. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Angeline, his sons, Terry and Denny O'Donnell, and his daughter, Sherry Lee, my wife, also known on Free Republic as 'Mata-Sherry', and about 10 to 12 grandchildren (I don't know the total).Brief Services have been held per his last wishes, and a Memorial Service will be held for him...

Mata-Sherry was the name given to my wife, Sherry, by bc johnson,(RIP) when she was on the phone while I was being questioned by The Klintoon USSS. She doesn't post often on FR, but she's been to many Freeps with me, and even got her face on the front page of the Washington Post in 1998!

THE BUZZZZZZZ 13 © by Norman Liebmann The buzz is, Bill Clinton must be feeling better. He’s following the doctors on their hospital rounds and autographing bedpans. The buzz is, with things getting hotter with North Korea, the gang over at The State Department has asked Hallmark to dream up some cards with cute ultimatums. The buzz is, in order to get himself presentable for the Oscars ceremony a studio makeup man had to go over Michael Moore’s face with a rake. The buzz is, Mexico is full of jobs Mexicans won’t do. The buzz is, Johnny Walker Lindh has...

If Terri dies when she could actually be kept alive, and Jeb Bush doesn't use the State Police or the Florida National Guard, or ANYTHING to prevent this travesty, he will be vilified by the democRATS if he ever seeks another office (like the Presidency). It means nothing that some democRATS are actually trying to keep her alive. The only thing that the MSM will hammer on is that he stood by AS Governor and allowed that poor woman to DIE when he could have prevented it.

There's been a lot of talk over the past few years that billie-j would aspire to the office of Secretary-General of the UN.I always disputed it as a lost cause, since no member-State of the Security Council, having veto-power, could ever have one of their citizens running the show!I've been challenged by the beautiful and talented Mata Sherry to back-up my claims!Well! I spent about four hours trying to find the info on the UN website, and I can't find jack-shit!So I'm calling for help. Where is it written that the USA CANNOT put a candidate up for election to...

Date : 2004-12-13 CANADA – MORE THAN YOU WANT TO KNOW © by Norman Liebmann Recently, Canadians voted America the country they are most likely to lose patience with. Canadians have the same bitchy attitude toward America that the Québécois have toward the rest of Canada. The French-Canadians, like their cousins in Europe, have the mindset of a committee that cannot be brought to order. Their aversion to America makes the designation, French-Canadian, a self-contained redundancy. Their emotional climate of whininess is probably because Canadians haven’t figured out a way to cry on their own shoulders. The only aspect of...

IMHO (in my humble opinion) CONJECTURAL SHRAPNEL © by Norman Liebmann In my humble opinion, San Francisco is a place you can go to get your body pierced without someone saying “Oops!”. In my humble opinion, considering the trashy character of the UN, the Secretary General should bring the delegates to order, not with a gavel, but with a shovel. In my humble opinion, if Bedford Falls had been located in Arkansas, George Bailey would have decided, it's not such a wonderful life. In my humble opinion, to paraphrase Edmund Burke – all that is needed for the triumph of...
