Interesting. Earlier this week, I was listening to Adrian Rogers talking about this very same thing on Love Worth Finding’s radio broadcasts on 5/20 and 5/21.

    You can hear it here:

Yes, He did. I couldn’t accept that at first, but He says He did … in the Bible.

Here on FR, I once argued that He doesn’t do evil, but, again, He says He does … in the Bible. That, too, was hard for me to accept at first.

I guess it’s a matter of perspective and it’s like someone else said about how you define “evil”. For me, it’s hard to accept that God would do any of the many things I think of as being “evil”.

But, otoh, I am reminded that, just as His Love and Mercy are like a fathomless abyss, so, too, are His Wrath and Judgment, as it will be when this time of mercy and grace is over and His Day comes.

I am more hopeful than you are about Ukraine and about us, too.

The nefarious activities you speak to and accuse Ukraine of doing are the same things Russia is doing and are the same things that happen here, also.

We, the people, are being run by crime family rules here, too, as long as the various crime families here are in power over us. It’s just that way, but I think it’s much worse in Russia than here, even with the demonrat majority running this country into the ground.

For this reason, WEF or not, I believe Ukraine will be much better off in times to come, since so many in the West are now very much invested in Ukraine and its future as a free nation unbeholden to Putin.

Imagine how much better that country and our country would be now if President Donald J. Trump was still in office and the reforms and anti-corruption measures he and they advocated and implemented were kept in place. Maybe we will do that again soon. Such is my hope and prayer.

To all things, a season. Good times, bad times, neither lasts forever. God is still in charge. You know it and I know it. Everyday, I’m watching for Him to see what He will do and/or what He will allow to happen next.

Fwiw, I’ve been reading the “True Life In God” messages for years now and there are many messages and prophecies written about Russia. I had real hope for Russia thanks to what is written in those messages.

However, there are also warnings that come with His Blessings, and so I now wonder how Russia’s war on Ukraine fits with what I’ve read in those messages and prophecies.

    Good read. Thanks for posting!

If not for the Bible, these toxic times would be very confusing and ultimately deadly! For me, the Bible is the only thing that predicts and explains these times and what to do to survive them.

Fwiw, you and I agree about Biden. I think he’s one of the most corrupt humans ever, alive or dead. I can’t stand the man going way, way back.

Biden is a plagiarist. When I was in high school, plagiarism was a serious honor code offense and, naive as I was/am, I was shocked that such a person with such a history would be holding high office and also be running for President! I was and still am disgusted.

Remember the Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas hearings and “Plugs” Biden grinning that shit eating Cheshire Cat grin while going out of his way to be disrespectful to both men, at least that’s my memory, tainted as it is by my utter disgust and contempt for Jobama oBiden.

I hope we are clear about this.

I think Biden was going to give Ukraine to Russia and Taiwan to China. Ukraine didn’t get that memo, I guess, so it was a good thing they did get some Javelins and other things from President Donald J. Trump!

Fwiw, I think the demonrats are historically and ideologically aligned with the Soviets then and the Russians now, as Ted Kennedy, obama, Hillary Clinton and many others have shown over the years. And, if you believe that Ukraine is the only country who has blackmail info on Jobama oBiden, then you’re a fool.

But I do think you’re right about Ukraine. If not for whatever blackmail Ukraine might have against the Jobama oBiden crime family, I doubt Ukraine would have received much help at all. I believe they were to be sacrificed for “peace in our times” or whatever, more or less as a gift to Putin/Russia.

But, since that didn’t happen, to me it looks like Zelensky’s blackmail fu against Biden is better than Putin’s blackmail fu and here we are a few years and many, many thousands of dead Russians later.

However, Biden has slow rolled support, too, allowing shortages in Ukrainian defenses at the front at critical times and places, “giving” Putin some gains in territory, for which Biden then blames on the republicans for not giving Ukraine the help they need. All too easy.

Whatever happens, Putin should not be rewarded for his aggressions against his neighbors.

Putin should not get to keep any territory he has taken and, in a just world, Russia would also have to pay for damages they have done to Ukraine, the same as if your neighbor would have to do if they did unto you what Russia has done to Ukraine.

I think if the deal would have been a good deal for Ukraine and for those who would have to guarantee Ukraine’s safety and sovereignty, that deal would have happened, but it wasn’t, so it didn’t happen.

I also think if Trump would have become POTUS instead of Biden taking that office, none of this in Ukraine would be happening now.

But, since it is happening now, I want Russia to pay an extremely high price for this latest war on its neighbors and, to that end, Ukraine should be provided with the weapons it needs to defend itself and make the Russians pay dearly for their current war of conquest.

As long as Russia is targeting and attacking Ukrainians, their cities, their infrastructure, etc. with missiles, bombs, drones, etc., then I’m fine with Ukraine using whatever weapons they have, regardless of who they got them from, against all Russian troops, Russian weapon systems and Russian ammunition dumps, wherever they are being prepared for war against Ukraine.

Fwiw, I think we have lots of weapons that are or soon will be “obsolete” and we are going to decommission and dispose of them anyway, so we should let Ukraine have them, too.

All I know is, an ego is a very expensive thing to maintain … especially Putin’s Soviet Russian ego! Therefore, Russian Bankruptcy 2.0 is coming.

All I know is, Russia is invading Ukraine and no one is surprised. I think invading the neighbors is just what Russia does at some point because … Russia and that’s what Russia does. Their excuses/reasons for what they do might change, but that’s about it. Same Stuff, different day.

Before the Russians invaded, the Ukrainians I’ve talked to just wanted Ukraine to be as successful and prosperous as other European nations are and as other former Soviet states have become, and, not surprisingly, they wondered and complained about why they aren’t.

They blamed corruption in their government and they blamed Putin … and then Putin invaded and now they really hate the man. But they don’t blame any of those you do.

Whomever you might blame for Russia invading Ukraine or however much you or others want Ukraine to surrender and be like those other “surrender monkeys” so many love to laugh at, I think Ukraine has the same rights to its borders, identity, safety and sovereignty as we do and every other nation does, no matter who their neighbors are.

And, personally, I admire them for fighting for their freedom from Putin, first with votes and then with missiles and bullets, too. I remember when a majority of Americans still had that same certain kind of fire for freedom and I know that some here still feel it.

Who knows, maybe one day we, too, will choose to fight for our border, identity, safety and sovereignty, also, first with votes …

I’m jealous. The Ukrainians follow their Constitution and fight to protect their borders, too. I wish we could do that here!

After we were attacked, the Ukrainians even helped the US during Operation Desert Storm and had casualties, too, while helping us in our fight.

Friends remember this with our gratitude and with our help now in their fight for their sovereignty and survival after Russia attacked and has invaded them, while the ignorant fling poo at them (and at us, too, for helping them).

Low class and not much for integrity here, either.

What is truth? Or, in an age of universal deceit, is it too late for truth?

By now, most seem very convinced their opinions are right about covid and whether or not the vaxx and boosters were/are “safe and effective”.

About all that’s left now are the current excess deaths since and due to the vaxx and boosters, the predicted mass die off of the vaxxed and boosted and any birth defects or similar complications passed on to the children of the vaxxed and boosted.

Unless the ‘truth’ about these things is reported and is shocking and overwhelmingly worrisome or frightening, the truth about covid and the vaxx is whatever anyone thinks and feels it is, the same as with everything else.

But, then again, who do you trust to tell you what the truth really is?

A few months? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see about that.

Lately, as Ukrainian troops are being resupplied with weapons and ammunition, the Russian casualties have been way over the more common 1,000 casualties/day we had been seeing, along with equally insane amounts of equipment losses per day, also.

Going a few more months with these kind of losses? Sure, maybe Putin’s fight for conquest can outlast Ukraine’s fight for survival … or maybe not.

To me, this fight looks like honey badger Ukraine fighting off the foraging Russian bear invading its home territory and, after this many years and all of those dead Russians later, I’m still rooting for the honey badger.

However this fight ends, the honey badger will recover from its wounds, but the bear will never be same again.

Alas, the bear’s real fight for survival was lost the moment it started fighting with a honey badger for its territory, instead of looking for easy to find jars full of honey in the bear’s vast territory packed full of honey.

Masha is so disappointed … and so is everyone else, too!

Just a few short years, and thousands and thousands of dead and busted Russian soldiers and equipment, ago, Putin and Russia were becoming besties with the West.

Open borders, full partnerships, sharing recipes and technologies, being good friends and family, too, were becoming our welcomed new normal after a hundred years of hot and Cold War between “them and us”.

All gone now. Vlad made himself sick with his homegrown MRSA (Make Russia Soviet Again) virus and now it’s 20th century deja vu all over again.

In this regard, many sources are surprised that Sergei Naryshkin remained the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, because the tasks of disrupting Western support for Ukraine were not completed.

Gee, I wonder how many here at FR are dedicated to this effort?

Whether they are paid for their work or simply unpaid and useful, quite a few here are blatantly obvious about it, criticizing, gaslighting and dividing in all the ways fine community organizers are so want to do.

When Putin outraged and/or shocked the world by invading Ukraine, his tanks and other military vehicles were marked with a big “Z”.

In response, posters here, who favored Ukraine and/or were against Putin, began to refer to Russia and Russians as “Ruzzia” and “Ruzzzians”.

In response, posters here, who for whatever their reasons are strongly against Ukraine and/or support Putin and/or are more isolationist, were annoyed by this and began calling those posters “Zeepers”.

The term is NOT meant to be a compliment. Kinda like the “N-word”, but in a kinder, gentler format here, along with memes and gifs and other forms of ridicule and deflection.

Such is the nature of things in war when we use naming and shaming tactics to silence debate and opinions we don’t like spoken in our presence.

If you’re Christian, while pondering world events, these posters, their opinions and tactics, consider Proverbs 6:16-19 and how Satan uses us and our emotions in public forums to trip us up and make us and others fall his way.

Jesus called the crowd to Him and said, “Listen and understand. A man is not defiled by what enters his mouth, but by what comes out of it.”
