Kremlin says creation of "buffer zone" in Ukraine needs time

Russia said on Wednesday that its military was still working to create a "buffer zone" in Ukraine's Kharkiv region but this would take time.

President Vladimir Putin said in May that Russia was creating a buffer to protect its border regions, especially Belgorod which lies adjacent to Kharkiv, from Ukrainian attacks.

"Of course, the realisation of this task is time-consuming, it takes time. Work in this direction is under way," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters when asked how long it would take for Russia to guarantee the security of Belgorod.

Russia will win.
————-
Having trained Ivan’s in Moscow, I can explain what “ winning” means to Ivan.

Winning is the one who loses the least. Attrition.

Facts are grim for Ukraine, infrastructure in ruins, electricity unplugged, male population depleted, government press gangs roaming the streets ( no more volunteers), 30 percent plus population fled Ukraine and are not returning, saddled with unpayable debt and loans ( they are expected to declare default in August), revenue generation depleted, and yet there are those still wanting us to believe they are somehow winning?

The West lives in Delusion.

LOL. He is not my Putin. He is a KGB thug. I live in the real world. I served in Vietnam for a year, including during the Tet Offensive, and another eight months off the coast on an LPH.

I was in Saudi Arabia during the entirety of Desert Shield/Storm. I served two years in Poland during the days of Solidarnosc’ and two years in Iran during the fall of the Shah.

Anyone who has seen war and revolution firsthand understands the terrible costs of conflict. Supporting the proxy war in Ukraine is immoral. It must end.

Tell your Putin to get the hell out of Ukraine. It’s not his country.
————
The Donbass is Russian, always has been…..add to that Odessa, created by Katherine the Great long ago. Get over it. The current negotiations that are being discussed all start with the Minsk agreements that Ukraine violated, accept it.

Until then, St Z can do this the easy way, negotiations, or the hard way, incremental destruction, as we are witnessing…..the “ Last Ukrainian “ is becoming reality.

Does the Ukraine ever accept responsibility for fomenting race hatred, supporting genocide, becoming NATO pawns etc.? Or is it 24/7 finger pointing?

Ukrainian hostility to Russians should be understandable at this point, since Putin seized Crimea, started/supported a civil war in 2014 and now has invaded trying to erase Ukraine's independence. Not sure why you cannot understand

Right, so independent Finland that joined NATO is a "NATO pawn"? Is Poland a "NATO pawn"? Or if they didn't join NATO would have ended up being Russia's pawn.

Amen, brother. Few here have experienced war, words can not describe war….and by our own Pentagon’s assessment, this one has no comparison to anything the US has seen since WW2.

Right, if the US that was attacked, land seized and a war waged for 8 years with numerous casualties and millions of refugees, you would be all peace and love. Okay

Odesa was founded by Greeks and ruled by Mongols, Lithuanians and Ottoman Turks for centuries before your so-called Russia ever existed.

Lots of excuses, but the reason for Russia invading its neighbors is Putin.

Putin does what he wants to do and I don’t think he’s easily played by Nuland. In fact, it’s kinda insulting to think so, right? I mean, seriously? Putin was played by that woman? Yeah, right … I really don’t think so.

Instead, I think his psychology is that of a collector and, as Russia’s czar for life, he has the ability to collect whatever he wants and he has. He’s an extremely rich and politically powerful man.

Most collectors never sell and consider it a personal tragedy if their collection is broken up. If that happens, they usually go back to collecting as before as soon as possible. It’s who they are. It’s what they do. It’s their nature and so it is with Putin.

Putin has spoken about the break up of the Soviet Union and the loss of those nations that had been assimilated and were part of that collection. He considers it a tragedy that should never have happened.

I think his nature is to do whatever he can and whatever it takes to put that collection back together again, which he is doing now.

To that end, he most likely will continue to use their old playbooks to make that happen step by step, as he has done in Ukraine for a decade or so now, the same as with last century’s Soviet conquests and assimilations.

Putin is sick with his MRSA virus (Make Russia Soviet Again) and it is necessary to contain and quarantine him so that his sickness doesn’t spread … again.

Ukraine is getting its ass kicked, Marcus.

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson:

https://sonar21.com/fate-of-biden-hangs-over-the-nato-summit-like-a-ghost-conjured-by-shakespeare/

It is one thing for the addled Joe Biden to be clueless about the true situation on the ground, but many of the NATO leaders in the audience also were applauding this crap. They cannot plead guilty by way of cognitive decline. The claim that, “Ukraine is winning and Russia is losing,” is a craven lie. Ukrainian forces are being pulverized by missiles, 3000 kg FAB bombs and drones. And neither the United States nor the rest of the NATO countries have a stockpile of 155mm artillery shells and air defense systems that they can send to Ukraine. This is pure malpractice by Biden’s speech writers.

In the weeks leading up to this summit, Ukraine was under enormous pressure from NATO leaders to do something dramatic on the battlefield to at least create the impression that a Ukrainian offensive, if properly supplied, could push the Russians back. The anticipated mini-counteroffensive never materialized. Instead, Russia is hitting Ukraine all along the 1000 km front and Ukraine is steadily retreating.

You ascribe to the typical NATO propoganda that Russia is going to invade Europe, which is delusional BS designed to scare voters so the Military Industrial Complex can continue to take a continuing share of resources. NATO rejected Russian membership. Russia is not interested in taking over Poland or any other country. Russia made it quite clear from 1991 before Putin that they wanted good relations with the EU. The US was losing it’s economic hold on the EU. We have isolated the EU from Russia to keep them in our economic sphere, and at the same time we have destroyed the EUs economies. The USA has become War, Inc. Our only actual non-recessionary sector of the economy is the defense/aircraft sectors. We are in the midst of rearming and sell our old equipment to Ukraine so we can buy more new stuff. The US needs to find a way to sustain itself economically without the defense industires as the economic engine. All we have heard since Obama was Russia and China bad, and we will go to war with them, one after the other.

The US and EU tried to buy up Russia, buy politicians and it was stopped when Putin was elected. Russia has reclaimed herself from the West at great cost. Ukraine is suffering that same fate, being bought up by the West and reduced to a vasal state like Africain contries.

Blinken told Lavrov that the US would put missiles in Ukraine and there was nothing Russia could do, becasue NATO would do as it pleased in NATO friedly countries. The invasion happened the following week.

Piss poor diplomacy by an American of Ukrainian Origins, e.g., Blinken (and Nuland), have brought the world form one that was run by the US with challenges from China economically, to one where even India has decided that they will join Russia economically and China is okay with that.

The US has squandered our position of leadership in the world. Endless wars. Lawlessnes of the DNC domestically did not translate itself into international politics. All the BS the US forces upon the world is being rejected. Nobody wants the immigration, LGBT, or Globalism.

These here United States of AmeriKa needs to learn to live peacefully with the world. We are War, Inc. and Death, LLC.

“today’s Ukrainians are a race of degenerates that crawled up from the sewage. Genocide is in order.”

The "quote" is from Adam Zarnowski. Below is the post of Alexander Dugin.

Ukraine must be cleansed of idiots. The genocide of cretins suggests itself. Evil cretins, closed to the voice of the Logos, deadly and... For all this, incredibly stupid. I do not believe that these are Ukrainians. Ukrainians are a wonderful Slavic people. This is some kind of race of bastards that appeared from the sewer manholes.

Seems like anti-Asian racism. Read the front page of this forum. Racism is mentioned twice for banning.
