SCOTUS could handle this by ruling the plaintiffs lack standing. Even if the tariffs are a tax, the plaintiffs aren’t obligated to pay as they can source goods and materials within the US that are duty free.

The point of tariffs is to level the playing field for US manufacturing and raw materials production.
