I'm in an argument with liberal co-workers on the merits of gun ownership. They are claiming that there are few (if any) examples of where civilians (not police officers or security guards) came to the public’s defense. We are talking about malls, universities, restaurants, etc., not private residence. I'm sure there was an incident at restaurant a few years ago, but can't find a link.

Sunday morning I was watching Foxnews at a friends house. They showed a very funny gag video of a British woman interviewing some Iraqi 'insurgents'. The three men were classically dressed in insurgent attire complete with cloth rapped around their faces and holding automatic weapons. As the leader for the 'insurgents' speaks, he notices that everything he says is being subtitled below in english. The guy gets mad and loses control because he thinks they are not needed as his 'english is good, I studied at American University in Cairo'. Did anybody else see this?
