“You get what you vote for...” is a valid assertion, assuming that the election is conducted fairly. Sadly, that is a big assumption. I live in a “one party” jurisdiction myself, and there always seems to be an errant box of ballots appearing just in the nick of time to re-elect the local Leftist. By creating urban enclaves they have long claimed as their fiefdoms, Democrats have come to successfully control states that have have otherwise conservative constituencies. The latest con is to “colonize” more rural districts via clandestine import of illegal aliens. The corrosive nature of machine politics will not be undone by elections alone.

Sadly, the unconstitutional and confiscatory intent on display by Democratic Party Leftists in Virginia, is a harbinger of their goals for ALL of America. They’re tyrants. Democrats are smugly sure of their own superiority and have no doubts about coercing those who differ from them. Today’s Left is precisely the type of movement that makes it imperative for the citizenry to remain armed.

If there are, for argument’s sake, legal prescriptions for 10M doses of OXY, but production exceeds 100M doses, that’s “illegal drug dealing.” Not that complicated. Those execs will stop if they face the gallows.

As a native Connecticut resident, it is sad to say that my home state is probably beyond redemption or renewal. CT is a one-party, Leftist Democrat fiefdom. Taxes are sky high, as is state debt. Gov. Malloy wants to impose further tax hikes and NEW taxes, like reinstating tolls on I-95. The state’s unfounded liabilities, like pensions are through the roof. It’s so bad that big employers like GE have fled the state, to Mass. no less! The exodus of people continues. Inner city schools in Hartford, New Haven, and Bridgeport are in horrible shape. Our elected representatives are a Who’s Who of Liberal moonbats. As someone who has waged a life long battle against these destructive forces, I can tell you it is heart breaking to lose one’s home. Our side is around 40+ % of the electorate and we seem to have been routed. Let us be a warning to others. It can happen to your home too.

Dear President Trump,

The American people have vested their hopes for a renewed America in you. We know that the waste and corruption currently on display in our Capitol is bankrupting the country. The endless spending via “continuing resolutions” is the road to perdition. Unlimited spending and unlimited taxation equate to UNLIMITED GOVERNMENT. Please restore power back to the people as you promised during your campaign. To that end:

1. Veto this budget. It’s simply business as usual. There are no hard choices made. The Wall is neglected while Planned Parenthood is fully funded. It is loaded with fat. It ignores your agenda save for the military. Make Congressional GOPe grow a spine and take the case to the American People: The Dems are the ones threatening to “shut down” the government.

2. Build the Wall. Use the military to begin the work with Army Corps of Engineers and Seabees if necessary.
This structure is a defensive necessity for our national security. Set up a contributory fund and go to the people for donations. Just DO IT!

3. Fight like hell for your proposed tax reforms. It’s a great package. Again, go to the people and enlist their support. Bypass the usual insiders and media hacks. Twist arms in Congress and hold massive rallies in the districts of Reps or Senators who don’t get on board. Bring the heat like only you can. We’re on your side.

4. Keep checking off the boxes on your campaign promises. Call out those who try to thwart immigration, tax, and healthcare reform. Be tough. That’s why we voted for you.

This is SO true. Further, the Mayor of Bridgeport did a walking photo-op with Malloy in the street, and they laughed about how they could always “find a box of missing ballots” in a pinch. They joked about blatant voter fraud and fixing an election in front of media cameras and nobody cared. Sick.

Malloy is also an anti-2nd Amendment zealot. He jammed his detachable magazine restrictions through, as well as requiring a license just to purchase ammo. Now he wants a huge fee increase on acquiring CCW permits. This in the home of Remington, Mossberg, Ruger, Colt, etc. My home is dying.

Hello. I am a long time high school History teacher, Department Chairman, and former Marine. I kid you not, when I deal with wishes of parents, I treat you with utmost respect. That said, it doesn’t mean I always tell you what you want to hear. You are entitled to know the rationale behind your daughter’s lesson. You’re paying for it. You also rate a reasonable meeting. Go in with an open mind. Not all teachers are sloth-like propagandists of the Left. Many of us have been fighting for kids and parents for many years. I know I’ve been “behind enemy lines” for decades. Fight for your kid, but be fair. Some teachers deserve to be raked over the coals, but many are dedicated and conscientious. Fight for America and honest, appropriate curriculum. I wish you and your family the best.

The notion that military service is a default, consolation prize, a fall back plan is wrongful in itself. “College” is not a superior track to maturity and self-realization. Often it’s far over priced, dogmatic, and, truthfully, destructive to one’s character. Military Recruiters are not out scouting for demented freaks. If one wants to be free and independent, then stand up and do what must be done. Otherwise, shut up and obey your benefactor.

Colonel K, Ike was wrong. His “zero sum game” assumption about the economics of defense spending is overly simplistic. For example, the U.S. investment in capital ships, lift capacity, and trained expertise has huge implications when deployed in various regions of the globe. Money spent on a naval ship does not equate to theft from the hungry. The ensuing stability, relief from disaster, and deterrent effect, bolster productivity and investment, the formation of stable governments, and the efficient distribution of essential goods. Open sea lanes allow for the benefits of global trade. Lawful use of international airspace, likewise produces benefits that far exceed the costs of a vigorous military program. To assume that funds allocated for defense security are all “wasted” and consist of depriving civilian expenditures is illogical. Is a well financed and trained police department a drain on the town where it operates? Or do the residents, businesses, churches, and schools thrive in peace and security? So it is with national and global security issues as well. A properly-funded (not over indulged) military is an asset.

When read independently, a piece like this one can be dismissed for the crude Leninist agitprop that it is, but in the context of the great chorus croaking out the slanderous Progessive meme: “Trump is racist! Trump is homophobic! Trump is a xenophobe!” , the lie is amplified. Such BIG LIE propaganda is a staple of the Left. If the victim was in North Carolina, New York could claim jurisdiction based on Weiner’s presence in Manhattan when he committed the crime. He was physically in NYC, used a phone with origination in NY area code, billing, cell tower, etc. He is a permanent resident of NYC and likely made his contacts with the victim from his home address. That’s more than enough to give NYPD valid claim that he violated NY State law. North Carolina and the Feds also have claims that are valid, but nobody has taken Weiner into custody and formally charged him. Possession being 9/10 and all that...GRAB HIM UP!
