The Salahis weren't the only gate-crashers living it up at the White House state dinner last November. The Secret Service revealed Monday that a third individual who was not on the guest list made it into the dinner, though the agency says the individual went through security screening and did not appear to have any interaction with President Obama. The Secret Service, which did not name the individual, said the information about the third party-crasher came out in the course of the investigation into the breach at the Nov. 24 dinner honoring India's prime minister.

I just watched him get interviewed and Diane tried to do what she tries to do (talk down to you so sweetly). But Joe was not having it, he politely articulated that Obama wants to spread the wealth, which is socialism. Good Job Joe!

I just want to say that we should boycott the Olympics. China is a repressive, corrupt, un-godly, heinous regime. Our athletes are forced to compete in their foul air, under the watchful eye of big brother. China's citizen's were forced to skim their foul seas of algae so their government would not be embarrassed. We should not reward them with our viewing.

Drilling off the coast of California, Florida and elsewhere would increase domestic oil production by 7 percent by 2030, according to the Energy Information Administration. But “because oil prices are determined on the international market…any impact on average wellhead prices is expected to be insignificant.” There is no short-term benefit to drilling, says the EIA, because it would take at least five years for oil production to begin. NORFOLK At the end of this semester, Steven Aird will lose his job as an associate professor of biology at Norfolk State University for giving out too many F's. He is not going quietly. Aird says his termination is part of a dumbing-down of academic standards at NSU - a move by administrators to intimidate faculty members into passing undeserving students and rewarding inferior work. Other faculty members in NSU's School of Science and Technology say they, too, have experienced pressure to bend their standards to pass more students, and more than a dozen current and former students in the...

SUFFOLK The helicopter flew low and fast over the parked cars at Peanut Fest, barely topping the nearby treeline before its nose pulled up in an almost vertical tilt. Rick Jackson watched the acrobatics Sunday from his nearby hangar. He figured the maneuvers were just part of a solo test run to check the wind. Then the helicopter flew closer, and Jackson grew alarmed. The rides had already begun. "You don't do that when you've got people aboard," said Jackson, a licensed pilot and helicopter owner. The police cut short the helicopter rides at Peanut Fest soon after and arrested...
