An unarmed Florida therapist was shot by police while trying to calm down his autistic patient, authorities said.
Police in North Miami were responding to a report of a man with what appeared to be a gun when they came across Charles Kinsey and his patient, who had run away from a group home.

I’m not anti-police, but damn, every single department in the country needs to retrain their officers on the use of force. And require them to do firearms training four times a year.

We are TRYING to keep the innocent ones safe, and are seeing some become the targets of terrorists. But then some idiot just has to go there.

There is a great market for new and innovated police training maybe you should start some.
Really?..... That cop should have been fired immediately. Then when they ask him why did he get fired and why can’t he find a job - then he could say ‘I don’t know’.
The problem is when a cop makes a mistake it’s very possible someone could die. And it could be an innocent person or a guilty person who hasn’t been proven guilty in a court of law.
When a soldier makes this mistake his life is ruined.
