Now don't get me wrong, a civilized society needs police. Unfortunately, today we seem to get too many maladjusted cops who still think they're in Iraq & Afghanistan.
BTW Do you really want men like this patrolling your neighborhood? I don't.
What always pisses me off is all the “good” cops who will either support the bad ones or, at the very least, stay silent.
That’s the thin blue line that I think about. They’ll never cross it. Unfortunately for the bad guys, there are way too many cameras around now days. I have to believe it’s been this way and worse for decades. And any cop who doesn’t realize he’s going to be on video is not smart enough to carry a gun.
I did see the film. And I watched it again when I read your post. It is unfortunate that the films never shows the actual shots. It went from the therapist on the ground to him being already shot.
In this case, who shot him, who shot at him if more than one fired, and what happened during the time we missed when the shooting was done?
And I’m not saying anyone did anything. But what started out as a small problem, grew to a real disaster. And we still don’t know why. We can guess. But until all the witnesses are deposed, and any other film comes into play, from what we have now, we don’t know for sure. And if the cop or cops are wrong, they should see some jail time. But over the last few years I’ve seen video tape doctored and voice tape cut to indicate other than what it was in the Martin case. So before someone gets placed on a spit, the evidence needs to be seen.

Their “point” is invalid; there is no “epidemic” of police unjustifiably killing black people. Not even close. #BLM doesn’t even bring up valid isolated cases, they hype cases where cops are justified! That’s because what they’re really about is running massive interference for the black criminal subculture.
Despite the true epidemic being black violent crime, blacks are actually LESS likely to be shot by police than whites! Yet the lies grow and spread.
But to be up front with you, IChing, if you had a down on the ground target, sitting up, took three shots and hit the other guy out there, then you used about the least amount of proper judgement I can imp;age using your capabilities with a weapon. Either you need a desk job or assigned to school crosswalk duty. You’re dangerous. Just the type of guy you want helping someone else. You got the heart, you just lack the tools.
