This was a comment that Larry King made at the end of his program Tuesday nitght.

KING: Tomorrow night, our special guest is Bob Woodward. Appropriate guest with less than two weeks to go to the election. His book, "Plan of Attack" is now a major bestseller in paperback. And it might have a major effect on this election. A man who will definitely have a major effect on this election is Aaron Brown because people -- when Aaron Brown speaks, people listen.

Not an urban legend...I know a family member and the names and places fit...don't know all the details...but they did talk about the recoil causing the accident...although I thought he actually was shot in the head. The date is wrong...it happened on a Saturday, but it seems that it occurred a couple of months ago.

*geragos, flynt, democrat spin machine, why there for sp?*

Yes, I've wondered why all the interest; isn't Scott an ordinary citizen like most of us?

My theory is that this trial is a political issue for the dims because of the double murder charges. Remember how the NAGS whined about charging Scaught with the murder of Conner, a 'fetus' in their eyes. (i.e challenging Roe v Wade). There was an emotional backlash, so they are now going through the backdoor and sending in some operatives to defend the perp on all charges. If he is found guilty, they have a problem, but if he is found 'not guilty', then the issue is moot. I think Janey Whiney-Tub is also defending him like a lap-dog for these reasons.

asking you to drive him somewhere??? You'd be like, "nowhere near water, right?"

    LOL

I have wondered why, assuming it was Scaught that killed her, why he carried her all the way to the bay to dispose of her and the baby. I believe he had to get rid of the body to hide the time of death. (Also, the cases of Chandra Levy, the missing pregnant woman in SF and the missing girl from his college days showed him that no body was a good thing for the perp).

But, it occurred to me that, perhaps, with his supposed love for the sea, he felt that it was more 'personal' type 'burial, than a dumping in a field or anywhere else. Remember, they were married by the sea. I'm not defending it, I just think he may have used that as justification for the dump.

Doesn't that Weintraub WITCH just make ya wanna hurl?!!

More than that...I have to change the channel when she is on, I've had enough...I think her issues are: She has to defend Scaught for the previously stated reasons, but she is in her heart is a feminist(sp), hating everything Scott stands for...therefore you get the contorted face and the whiney, grating voice.

Did you also hear Geraldo's comment about Geragos comfort level and how he is staying at a hotel ... and that without a doubt is being funding from someone on Scott's side ..

I believe he is being funding by someone on the pro-abortion side. The NAGS received such a uproar when they came out against trying Scaught for double-murder, because they didn't want Conner to be considered a human being...they have gone underground and decided to cut the issue off at the pass and simply defend him, getting him off on all murder charges, making the double-murder a non-issue. (Explains that wacko attorney Janey Weintub's(sp) undying support of the louse. I checked out Mark G.'s web-site to see his background. I found nothing to indicate his affiliation with a pro-choice group, other than he seems to be involved with the Clintons and Clinton's 'friends' (If you consider Susan McDougal a 'friend'.)

I'm betting that NOW is going to directly or indirectly represent Scott in court...when they spoke up against the double homicide charge there was a severe backlash...so they will try to covertly make sure the double homicide doesn't stick.

    Regarding the missing co-ed;

IMO Scott did not have anything to do with the missing Co-ed, but it is interesting to note that he probably heard alot about the case while at school...knew that the suspected boyfriend was never charged with anything since no body was found...next the Chandra Levy/Gary Condit case, very high profile in Modesto, where no arrest was made because there was no body - until months later when decay had apparently destroyed all viable DNA evidence....next the near-by discovery of the missing/pregnant Hernandez woman in the San Francisco Bay, off the radar for most, but probably some news was made locally...again the boyfriend was suspected, but no arrest was made because of the decomposition of the body...to me, it is possible that he felt that his chances of getting away with it were better without a body. Just my opinion, by the way, not based on any evidence.

    France is to blame

On the positive side, France's actions may have emboldened SH enough to stick around and dig his own grave...had there been a unifed front in the UN, he might have decided to step down, putting one of his equally evil, yet much younger and healthier sons in command, maintaining puppet control...would we then be able to go in and topple the regime? That, to me, would have been a worse scenario....

Actually, Carville came to the Bush Library at Texas A&M University last Friday to speak on Leadership with his wife...Former President Bush introduced him with warm regards...there were so many people there they had to use two overflow rooms where they remotely showed the talk...I think most people were there to see if he and the former President mixed it up....as you know Texas A&M is mostly conservative. The crowd in the overflow room were cracking up because he was so agitated and twitchy while Mary was speaking. (She says he has ADD)...he dropped his pen and kept on shifting around looking for it...the audience in the overflow rooms were laughing so hard the camera, finally zeroed in on Mary to stop the laughing.

They were practicing for Silver Taps, to be held that Tuesday night, honoring those Aggies that had died since the last Silver Taps...the vigil participants were part of an organization that was not even part of the A&M campus...they were just looking for publicity

It relates to Section 308(2)(A) of the Homeland Security Bill - Criteria for selecting a University-based Center for Homeland Security. A lot of the language fits in with what A&M has expertise in. A&M was not mentioned by name in the bill.

I'm another Freeper living in College Station. Chicken Oil and Wings-N-More will give you the best flavor of Aggieland. C&J's is good too. Another good BBQ place is Martin's, but is very small. It's been there forever -- run by the same family for 50++ years. Another Ag favorite. Good prices, too. No, 'most' of the Freebirds' patrons don't have spiked hair and body piercings, but it does have more of a 'liberal' feel. Never knew that it had an Austin linkage, but now I know why I always did take-out. However, I liked the food. Might be interesting to have a group of Freepers invade the place.

I think that weekend it will be rather quiet around campus because there is not a football game that weekend and some of the kids may be leaving for an early Thanksgiving break. So unless there is an event I'm not aware of, the restaurants shouldn't be real crowded. Bryan/College Station lives and breathes with the comings and goings of the students.

You can also check out the A&M website (www.tamu.edu) to get maps and other info.
