Have been checking this question out online and not getting very far. Older FR posts from 20 years ago pull up on the search, ostensibly discussing ping lists and offering them, but this gets confusing the deeper I drill down, no guidance as to how to actually identify, access, or even create one. Some of the postings go back to the early 2000's. Looks like they are trying to be helpful but I can't make heads nor tails of the links they offer. Am stumped. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong and how to do it the right...

Trying to get an idea if this would work. How many FReepers are in our area? Was thinking adults only, since we are oldsters, and there will be alcohol. Trying to get some idea of level of interest. Also if any FReeper has done this before, how did you keep left-wing trolls/activists from gate-crashing your backyard? Pizza provided by us, hand-made from scratch with Italian ingredients, cooked either on the charcoal grill or in an 800-degree wood burning brick oven. BYOB, beer/wine whatever, and BYOF bring your own fireworks too. We have two large crated hounds, so no pets. But...

ST PETERSBURG, Russia, June 5 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday he could deploy conventional missiles within striking distance of the United States and its European allies if they allowed Ukraine to strike deeper into Russia with long-range Western weapons. Putin, in his first face-to-face meeting with senior editors of international news agencies since the war in Ukraine began, said the West was wrong to assume Russia would never use nuclear weapons, and said the Kremlin's nuclear doctrine should not be taken lightly.

Although we don't have specific information on undocumented business owners, we do have some sources for states and how they treat undocumented immigrants in general. The Center for Immigration Studies lists 11 states that are known as “Sanctuary” states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Vermont and Washington. “Anti-sanctuary” states include Arizona, Texas, Montana, Mississippi, Georgia and Alabama.

Made an appointment to see a medical specialist affiliated with a large hospital and teaching institution located in Tampa, Florida. The appointment was made two months in advance, the office was that far booked up and its services apparently that much in demand. On the day of the appointment, I arrived twenty minutes early, produced my insurance and identity cards, and was given a portable tablet to complete some documentation. Just about everything I had to electronically sign on the tablet was about disclosing my personal medical history to anyone who asked for it, and agreeing that anything done to...

Foreign-born people make up almost a third of construction workers in the U.S. But their numbers have dropped in recent years, making it tougher for contractors to find workers. New home construction is key to unlocking lower housing prices. But the rate of this type of construction has fallen month to month since March 2022, and experts say tough immigration policies that have shrunk the construction workforce are behind the building squeeze. Lower immigration was a policy goal of the Trump White House, and the administration issued several policies toward that goal from 2017 to 2021, including freezing visas. The...

Today is the first day of March Madness so I thought I might grab a ticket and go see the Yankees play Toronto at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. Well, guess again. Prices range from $149.00 to $239.00 and are only that cheap because all of the more expensive seats have been sold out and those are the only ones left. For the March 25th game against the N.Y. Mets, the price for a box seat by the Yankees dugout is a cool $1,599.00. I am not making this up. I remember my Dad paying four dollars each for the seats...

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration is preparing for how the state will deal with any potential Haitian migrants fleeing their home country for the U.S., should they enter from Florida’s coast. Personnel will be sent to the Florida Keys and Florida’s southern waters. With the governor’s orders, up to 133 Florida State Guard soldiers will be deployed to assist.

With no regard to the danger, this White House has thrown open the gates to a stampede of evildoers. Almost 300 people from our Terror Watch List have already been caught. But have they been kept? Just this week, a Pakistani national that Border Patrol captured in November was found wandering around Los Angeles after his January release, stunning immigration officials. “Imagine how many cases like this one get through without us knowing,” one Homeland Security official told the Daily Caller anonymously. In most cases, it takes “more than three months for an agency to determine if someone is/was a...

Some of the grit we had in 1814 would have taken care of Mexico and this invasion years ago. What happened to the trucker convoy that was headed to Eagle Pass last week? All of a sudden the showdown there has been wiped off the news map. Greg Abbott and the State of Texas aren't being mentioned anywhere. Neither is DC. Wonder what the MSM/FEDS are busy cooking up. Looks like a blackout to me.

The Florida Legislature got an unlikely shout-out earlier this month. China Weekly, a Chinese language publication, mentioned a Florida bill that would ban the sale and manufacturing of cultivated meat, also sometimes referred to as lab-grown meat. If the bill passes, Florida would be the first state to ban the sale of cultivated meat. The industry worries Florida’s action could cause other states to follow suit. A lawmaker in Alabama has proposed a similar ban, and bills in New Hampshire, Oklahoma and Iowa would impose other restrictions on these products.

This happens on almost every article now. Wasn't always this way. I can get trashed as a conservative now just about anywhere I go. I don't need to get it on FR. Especially after having to deal with out-of-town relatives on my wife's side visiting us. Who have clearly been completely suborned by the woke left. Big shock. My wife doesn't want to accept that fact. These people even stopped celebrating Christmas. However, when she offered them The Epoch Times to read, the response she got was: "Oh, is this that RIGHT-WING rag"? That was her son talking. Her own...

Hillsborough County just floated a ballot referendum last election to lump teachers into the "first responder" category to allow them to share a proposed additional homestead exemption, in an effort to keep talented employees from "leaving for greener pastures". How about that? Stupid voters passed it.

A group of Florida state legislators voted on Friday to move forward with a bill that would reverse Governor Ron DeSantis' successful effort last year to strip the Walt Disney Co. of control of a special district that oversees the company's theme park properties. But the bill has long odds in getting very far in the Republican-controlled Florida legislature. That said, Sen. Linda Stewart, a Democrat whose district includes parts of Orange County, said that the bill "begins the conversation" by saying that the process to replace the board "was rushed." "We are paying the price for that rushed decision,"...

The number of unruly passenger incidents has doubled this year compared to 2019 onboard KLM flights and at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the Dutch flag carrier said Thursday. That's despite the Air France-KLM group being 6% below its pre-pandemic capacity, as it reported during this year's third-quarter results. It suggests that airline passengers are misbehaving more frequently across the board, with scores of high-profile incidents this year — from Tiffany Gomas, the American Airlines passenger who went viral after accusing another customer of not being real, to several passengers trying to open emergency exit doors.

Paige claims that although she dresses 'modestly,' passersby and strangers online continue...

“Despite what the former president and his allies have said for now more than two and a half years and continue to insist … the Georgia election was not stolen, and I had no right to overturn the election on January 6,” Pence said at the National Conference of State Legislatures after Trump was indicted in August. Unlike in the federal probe, Pence has not testified under oath as part of the Georgia case – including before the special purpose grand jury that interviewed 75 witnesses in its investigation. A spokesperson for Pence declined to comment on the Georgia case....

Although the eligibility of U.S. born citizens has been settled law for more than a century, there have been legitimate legal issues raised concerning those born outside of the country to U.S. citizens. From historical material and case law, it appears that the common understanding of the term “natural born” in England and in the American colonies in the 1700s included both the strict common law meaning as born in the territory (jus soli), as well as the statutory laws adopted in England since at least 1350, which included children born abroad to British fathers (jus sanguinis, the law of...
