The Florida Senate on Wednesday voted to permanently oust suspended Broward Sheriff Scott Israel over his officers' response to the mass shooting that killed 17 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018. The GOP-controlled state Senate voted 25-15 in favor of Israel’s permanent removal. “I hope the outcome provides some measure of relief to the Parkland families that have been doggedly pursuing accountability,” Gov. Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel vehemently denied to National Rifle Association spokesperson Dana Loesch on Wednesday during CNN's Town Hall on the tragic shootings at Stoneman Douglas High School that police were called to the home of the shooter, Nikolas Cruz, thirty-nine times. He claimed that it was reported inaccurately. How, he didn't say.  The following video of his denial reveals the extent of the sheriff's anger on that topic. As we shall see, his denial of those many visits to the Cruz house comes off as petulantly ridiculous because it had been widely reported on, including by CNN.
