White House adviser Karl Rove is scheduled to speak tomorrow at the annual conference of the federally funded, left-wing, open-borders-advocacy group, the National Council of La Raza. If he does not want his speech to look like an act of appeasement, he should confront La Raza on its opposition to commonsense policies designed to secure both U.S. borders and U.S. pocketbooks. Thinking that people have forgotten the May 1st failed boycott,Hispanic leaders are beginning a drive of sign new voters in 19 states. Whether these "new voters" are qualified becuase of their immigration status remains to be seen. But, they are still going through their voter drives, especially in heavily Hispanic areas of the country and along the border state.

I was watching today the debates of the immigration reform package that is curremtly before the Senate. And I was thinking to myself, "Was I duped in giving money to this person?" Well, the answer is that the people, rather the individual donors, truly have power. What is considered an individual donor? In the actual numbers given, this is the biggest. Many more checks arrive from $10-100 than the $1000 check. Those $10-100 checks comes from Joe Q.
