Remember the thing about if look around the room and can’t spot the crazy crazy person, it’s likely you? In the case of the embattled COVID Gnome™, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the rest of the room knows he’s crazy in denial over the origin of the virus that killed millions worldwide, but he continues to insist it’s us.RedState has reported extensively on the likelihood that COVID-19 was unleashed on an unsuspecting world after leaking from a Chinese lab. Here are a few of our recent articles:U.S. Department of Energy Drops Bombshell, New Intelligence Shows Lab Leak Most Likely COVID-19 OriginHouse GOP...

Hi. I’m Peter Navarro, it is March 12, 2023. And here is some breaking news: Fox News show host Tucker Carlson has purportedly sent out a questionnaire on America’s Ukraine policy to a set of Republican presidential candidates. My immediate thought upon hearing this news was, to speak in the salty vernacular of one of my old Chiefs of Staff at the Trump White House, John Kelly, “Who the hell does Tucker think he is?” Before I try and answer to that question, settle down all you fan boys and fan girls of Tucker. I like Tucker, and Tucker has...

The FBI has been accused of doctoring evidence against a defendant who was involved in the Capitol incursion. The controversy erupted last week after an attorney for Ethan Nordean, a Proud Boys member facing charges over the events of Jan. 6, 2021, said “hidden” messages between FBI agents had been found in a document presented to the court by FBI Special Agent Nicole Miller, according to Newsweek. “[A] close examination of the agent’s sheet revealed over one thousand hidden Excel rows of messages,” a court document said.

It’s not just silicon valley folks, a very large pension plan in Sweden was invested heavily in the Silicon Valley Bank. The fallout from Silicon Valley Bank has spread to Sweden’s largest pension group after the fund more than doubled its holdings in the Californian bank during the past year. Stockholm-based Alecta, which oversees more than $104 billion in assets, was SVB’s fourth-biggest shareholder at the end of last year with a holding worth $605 million, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Following a 60% plunge in SVB’s stock on Thursday, the value of the stake was worth only $279...

Reuters reported on Wednesday that “India’s Oil Deals With Russia Dent Decades-Old Dollar Dominance”, which informed their audience that the growing trend of those two using national or third-party currencies like the UAE’s is something significant for everyone to pay attention to. To that outlet’s credit, it also reminded readers that IMF Deputy Managing Director Gita Gopinath foresaw in the month after Russia’s special operation began that the West’s sanctions “could erode the dollar’s dominance”.Lo and behold, that’s precisely what happened, with India of all countries accelerating de-dollarization through its non-dollar-denominated energy deals with Russia. About them, Russia has since...

Investigative reporter James O’Keefe went viral with his first independent release since losing his position at Project Veritas, the undercover investigative journalism outlet he founded.O’Keefe confronted New York Times reporter Matthew Rosenberg over previously recorded instances in which he claimed that “they [media] were making too big of a deal [of January 6, 2021]” and claiming it was “an organized thing that it wasn’t.”“There were a ton of FBI informants who attacked the Capitol,” Rosenberg admitted while being secretly recorded. “The left’s overreaction in some places were so over the top,” he added. Rosenberg also admitted that he and other...

Has Fernand Amandi been binge-watching Joe Scarborough? You have to wonder, given his attack vocabulary on Ron DeSantis on Jonathan Capehart's MSNBC Sunday Show this morning. Amandi—an MSNBC analyst and Florida-based Democrat consultant—borrowed one of Scarborough's signature moves: riding a favorite phrase into the ground. No fewer than four times, Amandi described DeSantis, with full stops between each word, as a "MAGA. Extremist. Bully."For good measure, Amandi employed another tired Scarborough trope: referring to DeSantis as a "fascist." Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

The Ring of Truth – “I am too well accustomed to the taking of evidence not to detect the ring of truth.” 1908, Edith Wharton Much has been made of the events of January 6, 2021, and with the latest broadcast of CCTV video from inside the Capitol Hill complex, more questions have been raised. Within the questions: the FBI and government apparatus had advanced knowledge of the scale of the J6 mall assembly yet doing nothing? Why were the Capitol Hill police never informed of the FBI concerns? Why didn’t House Speaker Nancy Pelosi secure the Capitol Hill complex,...

A familiar face from a past economic disaster could be on the verge of profiting off the current Silicon Valley Bank calamity. SVB, taken over by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at the request of California regulators, is arguably the second-biggest bank failure of its kind in America — but that clearly doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to capitalize off of its collapse. According to a report from Bloomberg, the managers of the investment banking arm of Silicon Valley Bank, SVB Securities, are seeking a “management buyout of the business.” They are reportedly looking to expedite a deal because regulators...

Mike Pence’s Trump Derangement Syndrome has now reached advanced stages as he continues to consider a bid for President. Pence condemned President Donald Trump for the events surrounding J6 during Saturday night’s Gridiron Dinner, an annual event attended by politicians and journalists. He also claimed Trump put his family in danger. The news was first reported by the Associated Press. The former vice-president called Trump’s actions “wrong” and vowed that history will hold Trump responsible for what happened. President Trump was wrong. I had no right to overturn the election. And his reckless words endangered my family and everyone at...

The Argentine Association of Agricultural Producers (AAPA) seeks to add adhesions due to the lack of responses from the Executive to their claims. This Monday is the deadline set by the linking table. In the last month 15 million tons between soybeans and corn is what would have been lost throughout the country due the drought and the heat wave, according to the Rosario Stock Exchange (BCR). The projection for the remainder of the year is not encouraging either: it could reach 50 millions tons. In this scenario, sectors of the countryside threatened to carry out strong protest measures. The...

This is the #1 download on iTunes, as We The People contemplate the events depicted. The totality of a corrupt American government, led by a system of control, is a painful realization. However, America always rises. And yes, “lambs become lions.” {Direct Rumble Link}

If you wondered if Joe Biden was going to run for reelection, wonder no more. You’re going to see some amazing gymnastics from Biden in that pursuit. Biden will be throwing everyone under the bus because what he’s doing now is a loser. Biden was initially in support of a DC Council bill to basically make crime legal in DC: The D.C. Council bill would reduce penalties for murders, carjackings, armed robberies, armed home invasions, and sexual assault offenses, even amid rising crime in the nation’s capital. Then suddenly Biden changed his tune The White House issued a Statement of...

On this date in 1960, the former French colony of Vietnam made its last use of that most characteristically Gallic killing-machine: the guillotine. Communist cadre Hoang Le Kha of the Vietnam People’s Army — the insurgent force also known at different times, in different manifestations, and through different eyes as the Viet Minh, the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) and the Vietcong* — earned the unpleasant distinction. According to a disappointingly truncated article (.pdf) from the Texas Tech University Vietnam Archive, the beheading took place notwithstanding an appeal pending before the International Control Commission, the multinational body charged with overseeing the...

You’ve heard the complaints: When am I ever gonna use this? How is this relevant to the real world? How is reading Shakespeare going to make me a better banker? I don’t run into this kind of thinking as frequently in the economics classroom, but I hear my students’ complaints about their other courses pretty regularly (and maybe professors in those courses hear students’ complaints about mine). Why, they wonder, are they expected to study art history? Or biology? Or “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock”? Or Mesoamerican mythology? When are they ever gonna use this stuff? My answer?...

Expectations were great. When 2023 started, there was a general sense that the stock and bond markets had turned over a new leaf. A repeat of 2022 was out of the question. The primary assumption was that inflation would relent. After that, everything else would neatly fall in line. Specifically, interest rates would decline, and the next great stock market boom would bubble up just in time to bailout the meager retirement savings of aging baby boomers. That was the general outlook when 2023 commenced. But instead, the opposite is now happening. Inflation is persisting. Interest rates are rising. And...
