The National Science Foundation (NSF) Inspector General has found 74 instances where researchers funded by the NSF engaged in plagiarism, falsifying data, stealing, wasting government money, or committing other fraud. NSF spokesman Bobbie Mixon brushed aside concerns, saying “they are of little consequence. No one reads the reports that we publish. Why should it make any difference whether the results are fake? We are providing an income for members of the academic community. The arcane and basically unreadable documents they produce are a byproduct of that greater objective. Considering the massive amount of money being squandered across a plethora of...

Despite the way it's being portrayed You’ve probably seen headlines over the course of the past day claiming that George W. Bush went on The Today Show yesterday and slammed President Trump. He didn’t.

Hey Dems, talking to Tucker is not in your best interest. Keep it up. Earlier today, I discussed Democrat plans to make illegal immigrants their guests at tonight’s Donald Trump’s kinda-sorta State of the Union address. It’s a stupid move, one that’s almost guaranteed to backfire and, if Republicans are smart, they’ll use it to their advantage. Dems can’t see that. It appears that they haven’t yet learned their identity-politics lesson, so they’re going to go through with the plan. The left just can’t help itself.

Usually when you are anywhere nearby when a 50 BMG is being shot you would be aware of its presences by the loud sound, but thanks to a suppresser, you may not recognize the sound of this rifle. Many know the 50 BMG shot to be one of the loudest and most painful out there. Whether you are are the shooter or not, if you are anywhere in the vicinity you will hear, and most likely, feel the shot go off. Unless, that particular firearm is both suppressed and shooting subsonic ammo. Then you might just think someone is out...

It's coming Tonight’s address to Congress will be the first of the Trump presidency, and it will be heavy on policy matters - especially as it relates to what’s coming next following the imminent repeal of ObamaCare. To help lay the groundwork for that, Trump met yesterday with many of the insurers who’ve been losing their shirts on ObamaCare exchanges and asked them to get on board and help ensure a smooth transition: Trump told the insurers that his changes would include expanded healthcare savings accounts, which are tax-free savings accounts typically used with high-deductible insurance plans, and the sale...

Speaking truth to power isn't allowed in Sacramento A California lawmaker who fled Communist Vietnam as a child decided to tell the truth about the late former state senator Tom Hayden and his treasonable behavior during the Vietnam War. Hayden died Oct. 23 at 76 after a lifetime of seditious, anti-American behavior, including collaborating with America’s enemies during wartime. California state senator Janet Nguyen’s (R-Garden Grove) attempt to speak truth to power was cut short by Hayden’s allies in the Democrat-dominated California legislature who objected to her setting the record straight about Hayden.

ABA’s Commission on Immigration takes Soros money to lobby on immigration law in Congress and promote open borders in the media, always using the smokescreen of “professional neutrality” to claim credibility American Bar Association President Linda A. Klein recently lashed out at President Trump because Trump dared to criticize a Seattle judge who blocked his immigration order. “Make no mistake,” Klein fumed, “personal attacks on judges are attacks on our Constitution.”

“An ascendant Breitbart.com and President Trump are truly Andrew Breitbart’s greatest legacy Wednesday, March 1 marks the fifth anniversary of the death of conservative icon Andrew Breitbart. We think it is important to remember his legacy, as his name is heard often these days, and his influence looms large. For those not familiar with him, Andrew was a larger than life character who figured in the establishment of several prominent media institutions that play significant roles in today’s journalistic landscape. He was first associated with the Drudge Report, famous for scooping Newsweek on its Monica Lewinsky story; The Huffington Post,...

If Dems want 'total war,' give it to them Back in 2008, Barack Obama famously said: “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” It was a mantra of escalation that would serve him well for the next eight years. His “achievements” may be collapsing or headed for repeal but, on balance, he got what he wanted by playing a smarter, meaner, and tougher game than his opponents. Last week we learned that Democrats intend to employ his strategies - en masse - for the entirety of President Trump’s tenure.

The California state’s one-party government is now “bordering on criminal rule,” Former Senator Isadore Hall, a Democrat who marched with the President of the United Farm Worker’s labor union, and publicly declared his solidarity with the UFW campaign against the Gerawan Farming employees, has been appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown to the Agricultural Labor Relations Board. Hall’s confirmation hearing is March 1. After losing a race for Congress in November 2016, Hall has announced he will make another run in 2018… while he is on the ALRB?

Melania Trump and others who believe in the Providence that surrounds President Donald Trump, hold onto their Faith in the Almighty The progressive left had an unholy cow when First Lady Melania Trump opened her husband’s rally in Melbourne, Florida the weekend before last with the Lord’s Prayer. “Leftists on social media tore into First Lady Melania Trump, mocking her accent and religion and branding her everything from a hostage to a # – all for the secular offense of reciting “The Lord’s Prayer.” (Fox News, Feb. 19, 2017)

United Nations Human Rights Council, a body that has been accused of being biased against Israel and criticized for including abusive governments, according to two sources in regular contact with former and current U.S. officials. No immediate withdrawal is expected ahead of the council’s next session, which starts Monday, but discussion of abandoning the council is likely to alarm international activists already worried that the United States will take a lower profile on global human rights issues under President Donald Trump. A final decision on membership in the council would likely involve Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, as well as...

If there’s one thing that Democrats excel at it’s organizing; otherwise we wouldn’t have wound up with a community organizer as president. But even in defeat Democrats organize; that’s why they’ve been staging protests around the country ever since Trump won. Their latest lamentations can be seen and heard at Republican town hall meetings around the country. The Dem overlords have instructed the “grassroots” “folks” on how to attend and disrupt the meetings - two things that Democrats are particularly good at: participation and protest.House Democrats participate in sit-in protesting the blocking of their gun control billSo it’s no surprise...

In protests across the world, on vast swathes of social media, and on the trembling lips of each special snowflake…”but, but, but…Trump is literally Hitler!” cry the sorrowful thinkers of today. A quick Google search will give you 30,000+ results for this phrase, and without the “literally” (although still implied), you’ll get more than a hundred thousand. Some of the more prominent blogs will doubtless give every reader a few hours of naughty Schadenfreude as you read about the illogical Gordian Knots these SJWs have tied themselves into. To state that “Trump is literally Hitler” (TILH), betrays not only an...

Whether you prefer a 20-, 12- or even a 10-gauge shotgun to go after your spring gobbler, the time is now to pick the right load for maximum effectiveness. You might only get one chance at that trophy bird, so why not give yourself the best opportunity at a quick clean and ethical harvest? There are many turkey choke tubes on the market, and folks often ask me which one is best. I always tell them to pick a choke designed for your gun and the load you plan to shoot. But whatever you do, choose something, because you shouldn't...

Three of Michigan’s top public universities have what they call “Bias Response Teams,” which means around 121,000 college students in the state are subject to what often can be an arbitrary review of free speech by school administrators. That’s the conclusion of a recent survey by the civil liberties group Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, commonly called “FIRE.” Universities implement bias reporting systems so students, faculty, or staff can anonymously report conduct or speech that’s considered offensive or concerning but not necessarily a violation of school policy or the law. For instance, “microaggressions,” which refers to intentional or unintentional...

Video: During the British Petitions Committee Debate on President Trump’s State Visit to the UK, Nigel Evans defended President Trump, pointing out the irony of Mr. Trump being condemned for actually delivering on his promises, how there is no evidence to support the charge that he is a racist, how condemning Mr. Trump would be also condemning the 61 million United States people that voted for him.

.....However, the night reached its climax when the sacred text of Islam was quoted during an acceptance speech for the movie “White Helmets.” A pretentious-sounding British man appointed to speak on behalf of the White Helmets, uttered the words of the Quran. This led to yet another standing ovation and tears of joy among the well-meaning celebrities.

HONG KONG - China's largest auto glass manufacturer, Fuyao Glass Industry Group <600660.SS>, will press ahead with investments worth about $1 billion in the United States this year despite criticism at home amid growing China-U.S. tensions, the company's chairman said. The company also expects to invest a further $130 million in Germany and Russia this year as it looks to tap into more high-end overseas markets, Cao Dewang told Reuters in an interview in Hong Kong on Monday. Cao, whose company is already the biggest investor in Ohio, said he planned to create about 4,500 jobs by setting-up plants in...
