It's coming
Tonights address to Congress will be the first of the Trump presidency, and it will be heavy on policy matters - especially as it relates to whats coming next following the imminent repeal of ObamaCare. To help lay the groundwork for that, Trump met yesterday with many of the insurers whove been losing their shirts on ObamaCare exchanges and asked them to get on board and help ensure a smooth transition:
Trump told the insurers that his changes would include expanded healthcare savings accounts, which are tax-free savings accounts typically used with high-deductible insurance plans, and the sale of health plans across state lines. He also said that he wanted states to have more flexibility but did not provide details.
Making Healthcare Great Again!!!
There should be no reason to have “health insurance”. Any system that propagates this theft is simply a whitewash.
Only risks that I fell are necessary to avoid need be “insured” - everything else should be payable out of pocket and the only reason it is NOT so is that we, as a people, refuse to force the government to enforce existing laws.
this has to be good news for the insurance industry.
They are pulling out of many markets because they are unprofitable and now these markets will be open to them again.
What time does it start?
I don’t know. I’m doing waltz lessons tonight. I figure I’ll watch in on Youtube later this week.
I’ll probably read about it on FR in the morning.
