Crude prices are selling off, aided by Saudi comments that a decision will not be forthcoming from next week's OPEC meeting in Algiers. Add to this news that the Federal Reserve is looking to restrict bank involvement in physical commodities...and dollar strength as the cherry on top...and oil is heading lower into the weekend.

Three brackets, all higher than the current 45 percent We’ve discussed the death tax a fair amount around here, and for better or for worse it usually breaks down to two arguments. Defenders of the tax say there’s no reason the children of rich people should feel entitled to get all their parents’ money, since they themselves did nothing to earn it. Critics of the tax respond by saying that if the parent earned the money, then it should be the parents’ decision who gets it, and at any rate there’s no particular reason the government should have a claim...

Lock & Load If Hillary Clinton gets her way, the concept of firearm ownership as an individual right will be eliminated. That’s not up for debate. She, her campaign, and her daughter have repeatedly signaled that she’ll appoint Supreme Court justices who will overturn D.C. vs Heller as part of her ongoing effort to gut the 2nd Amendment. Never mind that law-abiding citizens use firearms for self-defense every single day. Your ability to defend your family, home, and property irrelevant. Her agenda is all that matters. One wonders what she’d say to the woman who appears in the video below...

For all of life is like that race, With ups and downs and all. And all you have to do to win, Is rise each time you fall Essayist Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “There is always a reason for good or bad fortune … good luck is another name for tenacity of purpose.” For working folks, if having enough money to support their families is regarded as good fortune, then not having enough is bad fortune. In 1993, fortune, that fickle femme fatale, ignored my two decades of working to build a career and support a family, and left...

Ordinary Canadians are mad Trudeau wants Canada to become a post-national state and detests whatever true Canadian culture we have left Prime Minister Trudeau missed the opening of Parliament this week in order to jet off to New York to go to the U.N. It seems the Little Potato as he was dubbed by the Chinese or Little Pot for short, has a new favourite word to go with the other word he loves, “diversity.” Seems he loves to use the word “anxiety” too. While in New York, Trudeau talked about how some politicians exploit peoples’ fears and anxieties for...

Pope Francis and the Vatican run the risk of people losing their faith by this one perplexing turn of events since he became pope: They thought the idea was for the pope to convert Obama. Instead the pope was converted by Obama “Journalism based on gossip or rumors is a form of “terrorism” and media that stereotype entire populations or foment fear of migrants are acting destructively.” So said Pope Francis from a walled in Vatican City on the second straight day of looting and burning by rioters in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Tell the world what you think—and why. Quickly. I mean, it feels like something’s coming…. ...doesn’t it? Who is Valerie Jarrett? She was born Valerie June Bowman, on November 14, 1956, in Shiraz, Iran. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University in 1978. She is a licensed Chicago lawyer, having been graduated from the University of Michigan Law School with a Juris Doctor (J.D.), in 1981. Valerie Jarret is considered by...

In case you missed it, I wanted to make sure you got a chance to see my remarks at the 2016 Values Voter Summit in Washington, DC last weekend. - David Daleiden Planned Parenthood has never been more on the defensive than in the past year. After CMP's work exposing Planned Parenthood's criminal trafficking in baby body parts, George Soros' own board of directors said this: "The long-term consequences involve the substantial eroding of Planned Parenthood's credibility and reputation." Watch David's speech at the Values Voter Summit 2016 here: : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so6QjSGHk3g

In 2014 Conan O'Brien did a spoof of Hillary Clinton's interview with Diane Sawyer about her lack of lingering health issues following her 2012 concussion. In an obviously photoshopped version, Clinton's eyes are made to oscillate crazily. It was a very funny piece. Now, it may not seem so funny. Hillary Clinton exhibited abnormal eye movements during her recent speech in Philadelphia and they were not photo-shopped. Her eyes did not always move in the same direction at the same time. It appears that she has a problem with her left sixth cranial nerve. That nerve serves only one function...

A Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives has proposed legislation to make it legal to play online fantasy sports for money and bet on the March Madness basketball tournament, as long as the prize is less than $3,000. Rep. Aaron Miller, R-Sturgis, introduced House Bill 5849 on Sept. 8 to decriminalize these activities. Miller said people from all facets of life are involved in fantasy sports and filling out NCAA basketball tournament brackets. “Winning $100 for winning your league – that shouldn’t be a crime,” Miller said. Miller said he didn’t expect the bill would be acted on...

Well, you've no doubt heard the arguments made by socialists against private property, against corporations and the profit motive. We are taught that profit is a form of theft from the workers rather than being positive influx of cash resources payment of wages, dividends and investments in expansion. The concept of owning property is also in of itself theft to socialists, for the earth belongs to us and everything belongs to everybody. Profit and property has another meaning, it is what sends signals to our economy on where resources and assets must be placed in order to achieve further productivity...

Ted Cruz is in a bind when it comes to Donald Trump: Loyalists say he should stand by his epic non-endorsement in Cleveland. But Republicans pushing to finally unify the party as the election tightens say it’s time for Cruz to get on board.

The CZ-75 is a pistol made by Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod (CZUB) in the Czech Republic that has both semi-automatic and selective fire variants. First introduced in 1975, it is one of the original “wonder nines” featuring a staggered-column magazine, all-steel construction, and a hammer forged barrel. It is widely distributed throughout the world. It is the most common handgun in the Czech Republic. Like most fully automatic firearms, accuracy sort of goes out the window, with the CZ you also need to apply some death grip to hang onto it. But on the Hollywood side, you sure look good...

The Washington Post's David Fahrenthold (D-Harvard) is currently yammering mightily about Donald Trump's charitable foundations. However, when Fahrenthold and his "watchdog media" buds at the Post reviewed the dirty dealings at the Clinton Foundation in June of last year, the "vigilant pack" was strangely silent. It appears as though David Fahrenthold is 2016's version of 1998's Jane Mayer of The New Yorker. When the Clinton crime machine needed a hitpiece on Linda Tripp in 1998, Jane Mayer stepped to the plate for the Clinton machine. Not many people knew that Mayer's husband, William Hamilton [in the DC political incest pool,...

The Democratic PartyÂ’s nominee for the Vice Presidency, Senator Tim Kaine, spent his youth as a willing dupe for the KGB propaganda machine and its active measures in Latin America during the Cold War. In 1980, at age 22, Kaine interrupted his law studies at Harvard to sign up for a year long stint in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, which was heavily involved in various types of missionary work in Central America. During this time, the merde was indeed hitting the ventilateur south of the US border. Communist backed guerillas were intent on overthrowing the pro US government in El...
