Twitter temporarily suspended a prolific academic over his tweet regarding protesters in Charlotte, N.C. blocking access to highways. Wednesday night, protesters were reportedly blocking the interstate in response to the death of Keith Lamont Scott, a black man who was shot and killed by a black police officer on Tuesday. In response to the protest, Glenn Reynolds, a University of Tennessee law professor known for his blog, Instapundit, tweeted motorists should “run them down”:

When I was 16, a Texas police officer pulled me over and said "it's people like you that are ruining this country. Go back to your country." People who speed, I thought? Girls who are late for figure skating practice? I wasn't sure what he meant. What country was I supposed to go to? I was born and raised in Austin. Then, it dawned on me. It was a month after 9/11, and he meant Muslims. Islamophobia is widespread. In the 15 years that have followed the Sept. 11 attacks, many Muslim or Middle Eastern Americans have been repeatedly...

The Democratic Party has become something both JFK and RFK would deplore—the party of war. I was a Democrat all my life. I came to Washington to serve President John Kennedy and Attorney General Robert Kennedy. When the president was murdered and his brother struck off on his own, I joined his Senate campaign and staff as his legislative assistant and speechwriter, until his presidential campaign ended with his own assassination. I ran on a (losing) Democratic ticket in the New York state elections of 1970. When I was working to enact my own program of police reform in the...

According to energy magnate T. Boone Pickens, Obama has been a loser for the energy industry. And not just a loser, but “a complete loser”. That he is not a fan of President Obama’s policies—including his energy policies--comes as no surprise. Pickens said in 2014 that Obama was “the worst president we’ve ever had”.

The state’s 21st Century Investment Fund (CIF) has spent nearly $100 million on various types of subsidies and other forms of involvement in businesses since 2006, yet only 1,052 jobs have been created or retained because of it, according to the fund’s 2015 report. In addition, some investment groups received millions through the fund but created zero jobs and no proceeds. The state describes the fund as a program that “encourages the growth of emerging Michigan companies, diversifies the state’s economy by creating and retaining knowledge-based jobs and grows a community of investors to create a long-term, sustainable capital ecosystem...

... Hllary Clinton will almost certainly win Monday night’s epic presidential debate on points — and still could lose... ... Trump won’t be particularly well-informed, and figures it won’t particularly matter — and may well be right... ... Without a teleprompter, message discipline still tends to elude him. The one-on-one format for an hour-and-a-half could make his thin knowledge painfully obvious. And any misstep or outburst that reinforces the idea that he lacks the qualities to be commander in chief would be devastating... ... The cost is that she has done more than anyone to lower the standard for Trump....

All just part of a "protest" right, media? We’ve already presented two examples which prove the so-called “peaceful protests” in Charlotte, N.C. are anything but. We saw a CNN reporter get attacked on the street, and we saw an innocent man get dragged into a parking structure - where he was beaten while begging for mercy. Stories like those are all over the internet, and they’re terrible, but I suppose they’re not quite as awful as having someone try to set you on fire while you’re unconscious. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to a photographer who was tasked with covering...

A study from the Michigan League for Public Policy says that Michigan should spend more taxpayer dollars on state universities. This would do little to lower tuition, though, until the schools stop their spending spree. For universities, tuition and taxpayer support are revenues that pay for their expenses. The League states that cuts in taxpayer funding of universities are the culprit for tuition increases. The biggest driver for tuition increases, however, is not stagnant taxpayer support but university expenses. Say that legislators wanted to use taxpayer money to keep tuition at what it was a decade ago. In that case,...

I see that #HilzHiatus has rolled their candidate out this week to prove she’s not a hologram:Although I noted in the Orlando appearance she avoided the usual side-to-side teleprompter reading - in order to avoid any more commentary on her wonky eye. Instead she either used notes on the podium, turned her entire head/body or spoke directly straight into the camera, which used to be standard practice before the multi-TOTUS era butt now appears odd.The crowd in Orlando was yuge! Not Donald Trump public arena yuge, butt HRC local school gym yuge:And it was only scheduled because she was in...

Black Lives Matter thugs strike again, this time in Charlotte, North Carolina. The fallacy that police are hunting and killing black men indiscriminately, along with the lie of ‘hands up, don’t shoot,’ keeps growing. It is not an accident that the lies began under the direction of President Barack Obama. He is the most racist President that has held that office since another Democrat, Woodrow Wilson. Wilson, a Southern Democrat, staffed his office with Southerners who began the process of removing black Americans from positions of authority in the government, and re-segregated the armed forces. He undid 45 years of...

“Kilgannon Demands NFL Halt Anti-American Protests” Not everyone agrees with the radical swerve to the left exhibited by the National Football League during the past years. On September 6th, Freedom Alliance President Tom Kilgannon addressed a direct though respectful letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, asking that he put an end to the Anti-American, National Anthem protests of San Francisco Forty Niners’ reserve Colin Kaepernick and other players. Speaking “…on behalf of those we represent at Freedom Alliance – military heroes and their families,” Kilgannon made certain to remind Commissioner Goodell that the NFL, its teams owners and players are...

People are getting beaten and a city is being destroyed, and she has just joined in spreading the lie that made it all happen Yesterday we told you about how the news media slandered Charlotte police officers, suggesting that they were white racists monsters who shot an innocent black man who was merely reading a book. These reports sparked riots that have now raged in the city for two nights. And it was all a lie. Keith Lamont Scott was not reading a book. He was brandishing a gun. He was not acting innocently. He was acting in a threatening...

The president of the NAACP Greater Grand Rapids Branch said that students who brought a Donald Trump for president banner and a ‘Betsy Ross’ 13-star flag to a local high school football game were involved in “intentional actions of intimidation and rooted in no agenda other than to insult, to injure, and to incite.” Cle J. Jackson, the president of the NAACP Greater Grand Rapids Branch, said the Betsy Ross 13-star flag has been appropriated by “the so-called ‘Patriot Movement’ and other militia groups who are responding to America’s increasing diversity with opposition and racial supremacy.” At a Sept. 9...

Happy days are here again the progressive puppet masters sing as everyone else sinks into the third world According to the megaphones of the Progressive-controlled media, the Obama economy is booming. For the investor class it has been a rising tide that lifts all yachts or as it is expressed in Bloomberg, “When President Barack Obama was elected in November 2008, the U.S. economy was shrinking at a rate unmatched since World War II. In the seven years between then and his final State of the Union address Tuesday night, global investors have enjoyed stellar results from the rapidly expanding...

Soros-funded Black Lives Matter inflicts its terror in a sleepy Southern city. Black Lives Matter rioters claiming systemic racial discrimination is killing black people have laid siege to largely black Charlotte, North Carolina, after a black cop who reports to a black police chief shot and killed a black suspect who reportedly refused to drop his handgun. With Election Day only weeks away, it is possible the chaos in the Tarheel State is part of a left-wing get-out-the-vote effort to foment unrest in the state’s black communities. Remember that Democrat Barack Obama narrowly won the vitally important battleground state in...

Admission of refugees and migrants from Syria and other terrorist infested countries should be suspended President Obama’s State Department finally admitted the obvious regarding ISIS terrorists embedding themselves in the refugee flow from the Middle East. “I wouldn’t debate the fact that there’s the potential for ISIS terrorists to try to insert themselves, and we see that in some of the refugee camps in Jordan and in Turkey, where they try to insert themselves into the population,” State Department spokesman John Kirby said on “Fox and Friends” on September 21st. Then Kirby tried to assure Americans that the “vetting process,...

In 1967—an iconic time of “black” riots, burning cities, looting, and political murder—threats of yet another senseless riot were made against Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Once called “the City of Brotherly Love,” Philly had become a hateful playground for violent, black militants, communists, power-pushers, and carpet-baggers from all over the uninformed, disinformed, and mis-led, radical, liberal landscape.

The Islamic State is digging a moat around its biggest stronghold in Iraq, Mosul, in preparation for an expected attack from the Iraqi army and its U.S. partners, and is using oil tankers to construct a wall around the city, which it would set on fire if the Iraqi army gets too close, according to Mosul residents. The organization is also digging tunnels underneath the city as a means of stopping the army’s advance, shutting down some neighborhoods, and setting bombs. The attack on the city, which ISIS captured two years ago, is planned for next month. It would mark...
