The immigration debate returned to the state Capitol on Tuesday as civil rights activists condemned legislators who are crafting tougher state immigration laws. “These misguided legislators are pushing the same snake oil laws,” said Ed Romo, local vice president of the League of United Latin American Citizens. Romo and other civil rights activists urged legislators to reject immigration proposals being eyed by certain Republicans. State Rep. Randy Terrill, R-Moore, is expected to join legislators from at least five other states today in Washington to announce plans to file bills making their states' immigration laws the same or tougher than Arizona's....

A Top 10 Of The Left’s Most Ridiculous Moments Last Year 2010. I remember when I was growing up how 2010 sounded so futuristic. And now it’s come and gone. As a kid, I used to think that by the year 2010 we’d have flying cars and that everything would be so space-age. What do we have to show for 2010? The iPad. The Chevy Volt. Those little gel toilet dots that supposedly keep you from having to clean the toilet as often. So much for a wide-open future of technological innovation. At the same time, during my politically precocious...

I'm kicking off the New Year with a new blog. The main purpose of "The Coupon Whisperer" won't be to provide hot coupon tips, although I will be doing that. The primary purpose of this blog is to provide you with entertaining "war stories" from the field. Think of it as adventures in couponing. And so we start of with our first story...the strange story of Coupon Mike...I met Coupon Mike earlier this year at his job when I was introduced to him by a mutual friend, who worked at the same place, because of our common interest in...

Games are a natural part of life. Think about it. Even in nature, pups, cubs and kittens play, practice and sharpen the skills they will use as adults. Littermates will tumble around, with fake growls and go in for a “kill” with a pretend bite to the neck. The puppy on his back, knows he’s lost the game. Throughout history, there were games that displayed strength, stamina and skills in every culture. Today, those who can play games to display their strength, stamina and skill are given multi-million dollar contracts– and we pay big bucks to watch them. However, though...

They’re going to criticize me no matter what I do, so I might as well dance.” – Bristol Palin Race car great Mario Andretti once said, “If everything’s under control then you’re going too slow.” In Alaska, we have two speeds in the summertime: fast and faster – that’s because Alaskan summers are so short and sweet. We always try to cram it all in before the leaves change and snow flies again. Seasons change so quickly up here that we’re full-speed ahead to capture every minute under the Midnight Sun doing what we love to do in the great...

Network news and the internet were abuzz with the report and video by Los Angeles CBS affiliate KCBS of a reported missile launch late Monday afternoon -- around 5 PM. Both the Air Force and the Navy denied they had any missiles launches at the time. According to CBS News the Defense Department remains baffled. "Nobody within the Department of Defense that we've reached out to has been able to explain what this contrail is, where it came from," Pentagon spokesman Col. Dave Lapan said. "So far, we've come up empty with any explanation." And they go on: "The FAA...

Gallup released its final polling on voter enthusiasm today, and the bottom line is that it’s record-breaking for midterm elections. In fact, for Democrats and their leaners, it’s the second-best enthusiasm level in a midterm election Gallup has seen at 44%, only topped by 2006′s 53% and their nine-point lead over the GOP in that wave election. The bad news for Democrats? Well …. Americans’ enthusiasm about voting exceeds the recent midterm election high set four years ago, with 50% of Americans and 53% of registered voters saying they are more enthusiastic than usual about voting in 2010. … The...

The Barack Hussein Obama COLB [Certification of Live Birth] that has been posted on the internet, first the DailyKos and then Fight The Smears and finally at FactCheck now been proven to be a fake, fabricated, and forged document. There is no doubt that the original is not an authentic State of Hawaii, Department of Health issued document. Here is an example of a Hawaiian long form issued in September of 2010, a date where the Obama liars claim that Hawaii no longer issues what is presented below.

Note: Audio files, transcript and photos at link. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=130519592 SNIPPET - quote: When Yousef al-Khattab demonstrated outside New York mosques just a couple of years ago, it was pretty obvious where he stood on the political spectrum. "All we want is the non-Muslims, at this point, off the lands of Muhammad. ... We want the kafirs out of it," Khattab said in one interview, using a term for infidels or Muslim nonbelievers. When asked if he wanted Islam to take over the world, his answer was unequivocal: "Of course I want it to ... and it will." To promote that...

A friend posted pictures of the device, which resulted in the FBI coming by Afifi's Santa Clara, Calif., apartment to retrieve the surveillance equipment. It seems the FBI was tracking Afifi's movements..."

Lansing, Mich. (AP) -- An assistant attorney general is using his personal blog to target the openly gay leader of the University of Michigan's student assembly, calling him a racist with a "radical homosexual agenda." The lawyer claims that when he's not at work, he has the right to say whatever he wants. But the vociferous criticism has raised questions of just how far a civil servant can go, and whether Andrew Shirvell's online attacks — which include putting a swastika over a gay pride flag in a photo of 21-year-old Chris Armstrong — should affect his job.

Useless Nations (UN) allow Iran Dictator Mad Man to Spew Hate in NYC Applause for Ahmadinejad September 23, 2010 - 5:39 PM | by: Eric Shawn He was greeted by applause when he walked into the United Nations General Assembly, and applauded again, even after questioning 9/11 and claiming that the American government may have been behind the attack. That’s right, applauded after questioning the motivation for the terrorist attacks, who was responsible for them, and essentially suggesting they were a U.S. plot. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has made a variety...

Hugh Hewitt interviewed Senate minority leader John Boehner a few days ago, and could not get Boehner to commit to a rapid legislative agenda to repeal and reverse the democrat’s leftist legislative cramdown after the midterms in November. Boehner hemmed and hawed, sounding every bit like the establishment inside-the-beltway career politicians that got us into the dire economic mess that we’re in now. To make matters worse, Bill Kristol related to Hewitt on yesterday’s podcast that he asked a “high-ranking GOP leader” what their plans were, what they intended to do should the GOP take control of one or both...
