Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was released from the hospital Friday after having been admitted for treatment and observation after fracturing three ribs in a fall. Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said the 85-year-old justice is "doing well" and working from home.

Richard Anderson, the Emmy-nominated actor who played Oscar Goldman in both hit 1970s series “The Six Million Dollar Man” and “The Bionic Woman,” died August 31. He was 91. Anderson’s credits spanned more than 180 film and TV roles over six decades after starting his Hollywood career as a messenger at MGM. But he will be best remembered for playing Goldman, the handler of the bionic duo played by Lee Majors and Lyndsay Wagner. Combined, the series ran for 150 episodes and several TV movies — two of which Anderson produced.

Hillary Clinton looked to separate Donald Trump from recent Republican presidents on Friday, laying out a plan to encourage national service while arguing that Trump would never address the subject. The rollout of Clinton's plan -- which includes tripling the size of AmeriCorps and founding a reserve corps of 5 million people to respond to natural disasters -- was meant to be a moment for Clinton to talk more about her policies and values than about her boisterous opponent. Martin E. Brooks, best known for his portrayal of the scientist Dr. Rudy Wells on the 1970s ABC series The Six Million Dollar Man and its spinoff, The Bionic Woman, has died. He was 90 ... Brooks was the third actor to play Wells, who oversees the bionic implants of Steve Austin (Lee Majors) and Jaime Sommers (Lindsay Wagner) on the two action shows.
