Stern weighed in yesterday with the confession that he had a nose job nine years ago — right after the filming of his movie, "Private Parts" — and liposuction not long after to suck out the waddle of fat under his chin. He explained that, while he'd always hated his nose, doctor after doctor told him not to touch it. Finally, he said, one sketched out a simple fix that would pare away his speed bump, so he decided to have the surgery.

In his latest editorial on his website Bob Beckel calls Tom Delay a punk with a big mouth. Of course Mr. Beckel offers no proof to back up the baseless allegations he makes against Delay. Here is the editorial in it’s entirety: Just another Bully A Column by BBP Editor Bob BeckelTom Delay reminds me of a bully in my hometown high school. He scared people, told them he carried a switchblade, and would use it. He was a thug. One day he said something about my sister. He lasted 15 seconds, until he started to cry for his momma....

...I wanted to address the Lifetime series of "The Dirty Girls Social Club" again. First, I should let you all know I haven't heard a peep from anyone at the network since I last posted. I have talked to my co-executive producer, Nely Galan, who talked to an exec at the network who, I am told, told her that they have no problem with me at the repitch meeting. Rather, they just want to meet with everyone but me in order to "bond". Okay. ... Basically, there's a thing that happens in Hollywood. Moneylust. They all want to make money,...

The government made a mistake in annexing all of east Jerusalem following the Six Day War, Vice Prime Minister Shimon Peres said at the Labor Party's Jerusalem Day celebration at the capital's Gerard Behar Center on Sunday. "Whoever thinks that 240,000 Arabs from East Jerusalem could be annexed while Jerusalem stays a Jewish capital is as mistaken as those who say the city can be divided with fences and walls," Peres said. "If there isn't peace in Jerusalem, there won't be peace in the country, and if we don't leave the Gaza Strip, there won't be peace in Jerusalem," he...

PHILADELPHIA - Freddie Mitchell has talked his way out of Philadelphia. In a move that was no surprise, the Eagles released Mitchell on Friday, cutting ties with the wide receiver after four seasons where he never lived up to his promise as a first-round pick. "We appreciate everything Freddie has contributed to the Eagles organization over the last four years," coach Andy Reid said. "By releasing him now, it gives him the opportunity for a new start with another team in the NFL." Mitchell, picked in the first round out of UCLA in 2001, made more news off the field...

Bill Clinton's remarks at Davos may end being more controversial than Eason Jordan's. Other blogs, especially Little Green Footballs, have been all over the story. Here is the latest. It is now fully evident that a gloablist left-leaning elite uses Davos as an exercise to get similarly-inclined Americans to denounce their own country and pay homage to the icons of "progressive" politics - meaning, basically, anti-Americanism. How anyone could classify the mullahs of Iran as "progressive" and keep a straight face is beyond my understanding. It demonstrates how illogical and twisted a group the global anti-Americans have become.

NEW DELHI (AFP) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, whose country is the world's fifth-largest oil exporter, said that the world should get used to high oil prices. "The world should forget about cheap oil ... it won't happen," Chavez told a news conference in the Indian capital on Saturday, saying that the new price range for oil would remain between 40 dollars and 50 dollars. "That is the new band for oil," said Chavez, whose country is the only South American member of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). Chavez, on the second day of a visit to India...

THE MESSENGER Meet the Badass Democrat Washington Can't Afford to Lose by Josh Feit Kirstin Brost agreed to be interviewed on the condition that we do it over drinks at her favorite hangout, the Five Point Cafe--the lumpen prole bar near the northern edge of downtown. The alcohol was having its effect: The salaried Democratic Party official ended up telling me that she still "doesn't know what John Kerry's position on Iraq was" and that Al Sharpton was the best candidate in the Dem field. ("Howard Dean had nothing on Al," Brost, 27, says with a smile.) She also allows...

Boasts tie suspect to killing in Plainfield S. Plainfield native held in'83 shooting Domenico Anastario talked too much, authorities said . That was his mistake. The Florida man's bent for boasting eventually ended in his arrest for a 21-year-old Plainfield killing, police said. Anastario, 44, told a friend he got away with shooting a man to death on a dark Plainfield street in 1983. The friend, who turned out to be a police informant, relayed the tale to Edgewater, Fla., police detective David Gamell. At first, Gamell was skeptical. "When you commit a murder, you don't tell anyone," Gamell said....

During the absolute sham that happened on the floor of the United States House of Representatives on Thursday afternoon, Rep. Maxine Waters of California finally admitted for the official record what many of us have known for a long time - Michael Moore runs the Democratic Party. Waters took to the well of the House near the end of what can very loosely be called a debate on the question of objecting to the certification of the Ohio electoral votes of the 2004 presidential election. In a quivering voice that betrayed either an oncoming eruption of tears or outright fury,...

The ever-colorful Teresa Heinz Kerry, whose ``shove it'' comment to a journalist made headlines earlier this year, says some of the words she chooses may be inappropriate because English is her second language. ``My intent and my expression is real, but the actual use of the words may be out of place,'' she said on the daytime talk show ``The View.'' Heinz Kerry is a native of Mozambique, where Portuguese is the official language. But the potential first lady said she does not regret anything she's said this campaign season. ``I have not said very much at all except people...

TV host Bill O'Reilly suffered "the worst day of my life" yesterday after being thrust into a sleazy sex scandal - one so explosive, it has forced the talk-show loudmouth into silence. "I have been advised to keep my big mouth shut, and I have promised to do that," O'Reilly told the Daily News from his Fox News studio yesterday. But he didn't. "This has been the worst day of my life," O'Reilly said. "I am getting hounded by the press, and I knew I would be. I knew that they were going to kill me, but what am I...

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Optimism was supposed to be on display yesterday........... --SNIP-- .......but someone forgot to give Teresa Heinz Kerry the positive message. As 1,000 people waved signs reading "American Optimism," the would-be first lady ripped President Bush. "There's a lot we know isn't going right," Heinz Kerry said after assailing Bush's agenda. "But the most insidious and probably most debilitating of all of it is the lack of dignity and respect perpetrated on the American people. That is not American." Bush campaign spokesman Terry Holt called the remarks "shrill and angry attacks."

Frederick Davis, 54, is accused of theft, charged with using his sister's 1987 white Dodge van without her permission, being drunk and wrecking it Aug. 30 in Westwood. But it was Davis' mouth that got him into trouble Tuesday -- and will cost him an extra year behind bars.Davis, 54, was in the courtroom of Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Ruehlman when the judge declared Davis mentally competent to stand trial on the theft charge.Ruehlman said he knew Davis was mean, not mentally incompetent, but wanted a mental health professional to confirm it."I felt maybe there was mental...

BERKELEY, Calif. (Jan. 22, 2004) -- Keyshawn Johnson was mugged at gunpoint, robbed of money and jewelry but unhurt, police said. They said the wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was accosted up by two men as he was talking on his cell after walking out of a barber shop. "Johnson gave up his money and jewelry and the suspects fled," Lt. Eric Gustafson said. No arrests have been made. Johnson, a two-time Pro Bowl receiver, was deactivated for the final six games of last season, and the Buccaneers plan to either trade or release him. He was the...
