ROMNEY NARROWS VP CHOICES; SURPRISE NAME EMERGES AS FRONTRUNNER

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is the top choice of Republicans if the party nominates its presidential candidate at a "brokered" convention this summer, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released Wednesday. Mr. Christie is favored by 32 percent of Republicans, followed by former Govs. Sarah Palin of Alaska and Jeb Bush of Florida with 20 percent each, the poll found. Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels is fourth at 15 percent. As Sen. George Aiken once urged LBJ to "declare victory and get out" of Vietnam, Majority Leader Tom DeLay has informed his colleagues that, in the fight for fiscal responsibility, it is time to declare victory and go home. Yes, conservatives, we have reached the promised land. Looking over the budget, one-fifth of our entire economy, DeLay says there is simply no more fat to be found. This time I responded as follows- "Sorry Mr. Frist but I won't be contributing any more money to the RNC. You refuse to make the democrats do an actual filibuster on the judicial nominations. You are giving tax reductions to people who don't even pay taxes.
