<p>The Michigan attorney general's office said it will arrest former Detroit Lions player Bennie Blades for neglecting to pay nearly $300,000 in child support.</p>
<p>Blades, 37, lives in Plantation, Fla., near Miami, and works for the Broward County school district. He has not paid any child support since November 1999, when a judge ordered him to make weekly payments of $860 for a daughter, said Attorney General Mike Cox. Blades owes $298,259.</p>
