In August, the families of Sean Smith and Tyrone Woods, two of the victims in the Benghazi attack, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Hillary Clinton. They alleged that Clinton was “personally liable” in their deaths. They also sued Clinton for defamation, negligence, and for “intentional infliction of emotional distress.” Well, it should come to no one’s surprise that Hillary straight up ignored this lawsuit, with aides refusing to accept the court summons. You can read the lawsuit here. Now, something has to be done on their end to avoid having a judge rule automatically in favor of the families...

Parents of two Benghazi victims have sued Hillary Clinton, arguing that she caused the death of their sons and later defamed them in statements made to the media, according to court documents. “During her campaign for President, Defendant Clinton has negligently, recklessly, and/or maliciously defamed Plaintiffs by either directly calling them liars, or by strongly implying that they are liars, in order to protect and enhance her public image and intimidate and emotionally harm and silence them not to speak up about the Benghazi attack on at least four separate occasions,” Larry Klayman, an attorney for the families, wrote in...

TEL AVIV – A U.S. government security officer serving at the U.S. Special Mission in Benghazi prior to the September 11, 2012 attacks, warned his superiors that lack of adequate security at the compound made serving there a “suicide mission.” The officer further predicted to his superiors “that there was a very good chance that everybody here was going to die.” In a devastating indictment, the officer stated that a superior told him “everybody back here in D.C. knows that people are going to die in Benghazi, and nobody cares and nobody is going to care until somebody does die.”...

In comments that are sure to draw the ire of her Republican critics, Hillary Clinton sought to contrast the war in Iraq with the intervention in Libya during her stint as secretary of state. “I’ve said Iraq was a mistake,” Clinton told Chris Matthews during an MSNBC town hall event on Monday night. “Libya was a different kind of calculation. And we didn’t lose a single person. We didn’t have a problem in supporting our European and Arab allies in working with NATO.” As Politico noted, Clinton was probably referring to the U.S.-backed overthrow of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi in...

Hillary Clinton said at the MSNBC Democratic town hall Monday night that “we didn’t lose a single person” in Libya, despite the fact that four Americans died in Benghazi while she was secretary of state. Clinton was defending the Libyan state and what the Obama administration has billed as one of its greatest foreign policy successes. But Clinton was also among the first to point out there’s still much more work to do in the North African country. “Is Libya perfect? It isn’t,” Clinton explained. “But did they have two elections that were fair where they voted for moderates? Yes...

The first shots exploded around 9:40 p.m. On Sept. 11, 2012, a group of local fighters, AK-47s in hand, burst through the fortified front gate of a US outpost in Benghazi, Libya. One very long night later, the diplomatic compound was engulfed in flames and a covert CIA base a mile away lay in ruins, partially reduced to rubble by mortar fire. Four Americans were dead, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens and two CIA members. What happened in between is covered in "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi," a new film from "Transformers" director Michael Bay in theaters Friday. It...

President Barack Obama on Friday honored the four Americans killed in an attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya, recalling their lives in deeply personal terms and declaring the United States will never pull back on its principles or 'retreat from the world.' The coffins of the four men were brought back to the United States on a military transport plane this afternoon and carried by serving officers to waiting hearses parked under a giant hanging Stars and Stripes. 'Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. We will bring to justice those who took them from us,' said President Barack Obama...

The GOP primary has probably been the best thing to happen to Hillary Clinton in years. There was a period of time during the spring and early summer of last year when it seemed as if nobody could talk about anything except Hillary’s emails and the various investigations into the horrible events at Benghazi. You couldn’t swing a dead cat without hitting some story about the former Secretary of State being corrupt, deceptive or just plain lying. (Ah… good times, my friends.) But then the Republican race heated up, our candidates began flinging monkey poo at each other, several parts...

Hillary Clinton is denying once again that she told family members of Benghazi attack victims that a video was to blame for the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks — leaving only the possibility that the families are either lying or grossly mistaken about what the then-secretary of state told them in private.During an editorial board meeting with The Conway (N.H.) Daily Sun, Clinton was asked about an interview she recently had with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos in which she denied that she told family members of the Benghazi victims during a Sept. 14, 2012 memorial service at Andrews Air Force Base...

Clinton told a newspaper's editors that she never told Benghazi victims' families that an anti-Muslim YouTube video had sparked the deadly attacks Four of them have said otherwise - including the father of one of the fallen who wrote Clinton's words verbatim in a notebook 'Somebody is lying,' a columnist told her Wednesday. 'Who is it?' 'Not me, that's all I can tell you,' Clinton replied, casting blame on the families and attributing any confusion to the 'fog of war' Hillary Clinton insists that if anyone is lying about the aftermath of the 2012 Benghazi terror attacks that left four...

When Washington Post fact-checker Glen Kessler awarded Marco Rubio ‘Two Pinocchios‘ for his CNBC debate assessment that the recent Benghazi hearings had exposed Hillary Clinton as a liar, he rooted his conclusion –partially, at least — in two factors. First, he argued that although it’s legitimate to point out Hillary’s conflicting statements about the attacks, jumping to “lie” requires a higher standard of proof. Given the alleged “fog of war” that hung over the deadly event, Kessler said, it’s unfair and uncharitable to accuse Clinton of outright lying. Second, he cited a statement from Clinton’s campaign flat-out denying that...

Benghazi: The language in an email from Obama aide Ben Rhodes used to prep Susan Rice is virtually identical to one issued by the former secretary of state 36 hours before — the first public official to mention the video. One of the first questions we hope the Select Committee on Benghazi asks is who gave Ben Rhodes the authority and the content for the Sept. 14, 2012, email from him, an assistant to the president and deputy national security adviser, on how to prep Susan Rice for her talk show tour on Sept. 16 blaming a video for the...

...Clearly, the Benghazi terrorist attack had to be kept under wraps, no matter what, lest Obama’s campaign be blown out of the water. Thus, a decision was made to do nothing so as not to attract attention to Benghazi – a decision inimical to the national interests, but logical from the political point of view. Hence the White House’s refusal to mount a military rescue operation and its cold-hearted willingness to sacrifice Americans in Benghazi. As a matter of fact, aside from the four Americans who were killed in Benghazi, there were another three dozen U.S. personnel who were abandoned...

President Barack Obama compared his campaign volunteers to the American officials killed in Libya, saying that 'like them, you guys are Americans who sense that we can do better than we’re doing'. Obama's remarks came during a meeting with volunteer leaders in Las Vegas. 'And obviously [our] hearts are broken for the families but I wanted to encourage those folks at the State Department that they were making a difference,' he said, according to a pool report. 'The sacrifices that our troops and our diplomats make are obviously very different from the challenges that we face here domestically but, like...

Nearly eight months after terrorists killed J. Christopher Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya, and three others at the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Vice President Biden on Friday will officially recognize them and four other diplomats killed in the line of duty. Biden will be joined by Secretary of State John Kerry and other top administration officials to unveil the addition of the eight names on the Memorial Plaque in the lobby of the State Department. "Last year was a horror," said Thomas W. Switzer, spokesman for the American Foreign Service Association. "Sadly, this will be the biggest
