A bear cub in Northern Minnesota is getting called out by researchers for being a "twerp." The Voyageurs Wolf Project on Friday shared video on social media from one of its trail cameras in the Voyageurs National Park area in Northern Minnesota, which featured a bear cub bugging its mom and then attacking the trail camera.

A black bear cub scaled a 12-foot fence in its new enclosure at an Ohio zoo and escaped for about 15 minutes before being corralled and sedated. The Columbus Zoo was put on lockdown Saturday morning for a few minutes until workers could contain the 7-month-old black cub named Joan, said zoo spokeswoman Patty Peters. No one was hurt.

UPTON — An Upton woman rescued an orphaned baby bear after she saw the cub weak and alone in the western Maine woods following a fierce snowstorm that dumped more than 2 feet of snow on the area.
