Hello - My Mother (screename - ballina) would be proud as this is my first post on Free Republic. I'm hoping the right people read this message by posting it in the religious sections. I'm very sad to say that my Mother passed away on July 13, 2002 from ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed with cancer last Thanksgiving Day (2001) when we brought her into the hospital for abdominal pain. (She probably stopped posting on this site around the same time.) She had surgery last December and followed through with a harsh 7 treatments of chemo drugs through the Spring....
