CHICAGO, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Avion Group, an Icelandic company, has ordered four 777 freighters from Chicago-based Boeing Co. at a list price of about $800 million. The airplanes are in addition to an order for four 777 freighters that Avion Group placed with Boeing last September, Boeing said Thursday. The new cargo planes will be operated by Avion's subsidiary, wet-lease operator Air Atlanta Icelandic. The jets will be powered by General Electric's GE90-110B1 engine, the world's largest jet engine, and will meet QC2 noise standards for maximum accessibility to noise-sensitive airports, Boeing said.
