This week has been eye-opening. Even for me -- and I'm the guy who has warned for over a year, in commentary after commentary, and often for three hours a day on my nationally syndicated radio show, that the COVID-19 vaccine could be dangerous and deadly and could lead to catastrophe. I stuck my neck out like no other talk show host in America to warn the vaccine may not even prevent illness; in fact, it could damage the immune system, thereby causing more illness and death. And not just from COVID-19, but also injuries and death linked to the...

The U.S. Army is facing difficulties finding enough recruits and hopes increased bonuses will lure them. The Army for the first time is offering a maximum enlistment bonus of $50,000 to highly-skilled recruits who join for six years. Maj. Gen. Kevin Vereen, head of Army’s Recruiting Command, said difficulties stem from schools shuttering during the pandemic and a competitive job market. “We are still living the implications of 2020 and the onset of COVID, when the school systems shut down. We want to promote the value of serving your country. But we also know it’s all about compensation, too.” The recruiting...

Army Special Forces candidates will train in a "realistic" guerrilla war to be fought in rural North Carolina and South Carolina counties later this month, according to the service. Known as the Robin Sage training exercise, the two-week "unconventional warfare" drill is the final test of candidates' Special Forces Qualification Course training. The drill will take place Jan. 22 to Feb. 4 on privately owned land across 25 counties in North Carolina and three counties in South Carolina, the U.S. Army's John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School said in a news release. The Army did not provide the...

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A “realistic” guerrilla war will be fought across two dozen North Carolina counties in the coming weeks, with young soldiers battling seasoned “freedom fighters,” according to the U.S. Army. The two-week “unconventional warfare exercise” will be staged Jan. 22-Feb. 4 on privately owned land. And it will be realistic enough to include the sounds of gunfire (blanks) and flares, the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School said in a news release. Exact times, locations and exercise specifics were not provided. However, advance publicity is intended to make sure civilians — including law enforcement...

Although he's now one of the most lauded comedians in Hollywood, Larry David never saw himself becoming a writer or a comedian. After graduating from the University of Maryland in 1970, he was lost and had little direction from his parents, who wanted him to take a job as a mailman. The future writer for "Saturday Night Live," co-creator of "Seinfeld" and creator of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" joined the Army Reserve for one very important reason: to avoid going to Vietnam. He regretted it almost immediately. He had never held a weapon, and he was terrible at push-ups and sit-ups....

The Battle at Wounded Knee is a significant battle in American history, as it put an end to the Indian Wars and is marked as the last official defeat of the Native Americans. But what’s not taught in history lessons is that Wounded Knee was one of the first federally backed gun confiscations in the history of the United States, and it ended in the massacre of nearly 300 unarmed people. During the late 19th century, American Indians were allowed to purchase and carry firearms, just as white men were. The colonial gun laws did not bar Native Americans from...

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) - Donations are down for one local organization but the problem is the need in the community is greater and continues to grow. The Salvation Army recently held a fundraiser for their annual red kettle campaign to help those in the community who are in need. So far this year's campaign is down about 50% in donations and on top of that, they are struggling to get volunteers. Tonight at the Clemens Center, two local leaders stepped in to help. During this time of year, you'll typically see many red kettle volunteers outside ringing the kettlebells asking...

Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) speculated that the White House kept President Joe Biden away from the 122nd annual Army-Navy Game on Saturday due to fear of a “Let’s Go, Brandon!” chant from the audience. The Army-Navy football game was hosted at MetLife Stadium in New York City. Breitbart News reported on Saturday that the White House broke away from presidential tradition in not having Biden appear at the game.“I don’t know exactly why he did not attend,” Zeldin said in an interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Sunday with host Joel Pollak. “However, I will say this –, and I’ll state it...

Two former top Washington DC National Guard officials have slammed the US Army’s internal report on its response to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, claiming the document creates a false narrative about what happened that day. The 20-page report, obtained by Politico, describes multiple conversations between Army officials and then-DC Guard commander Maj. Gen. William Walker as part of its explanation for why the National Guard was unable to respond to the Capitol when their support was initially requested. However, Walker — now the House of Representatives’ Sergeant at Arms — claims some of those communications never happened.

Joseph Letizia’s pizza recipe, emulating the indomitable man himself, has persisted through three generations of ownership—and some astonishing twists and turns in the road. As a young man, Italian immigrant Joseph Letizia shined shoes and mopped saloon floors, honed his skills as a WWI army chef, and, determined to be a good American, attended night school for history and English. His 1936 restaurant in Westport, Connecticut, called The Triangle, lasted only one year, but a second concept in Norwalk in 1937, Uncle Joe’s (which sold pizzas on weekends only), proved an immediate success, thanks to the area’s large Italian population...
