This is an interesting interview on many levels. Even if one cares nothing for horse racing, just watching Wallace do the opening promo for his Philip Morris cigarette is amusing at least. (There are several of these later on too.) Wallace's focus on the money aspects of racing probably says more about Wallace than about Racing or Arcaro. It's interesting to me that here Wallace was interviewing the best jockey of that era and he never once asked about the horses Arcaro rode, the races Arcaro won (or lost), or the places where the races were contested.
