A JUDGE in the Miss Universe pageant selected because of his role in Donald Trump's US television reality show The Apprentice has been sacked from the competition panel. Kwame Jackson, a contestant for the reality show's April 15 final prize - a year-long, US$250,000 ($350,000) job with the billionaire developer - was disqualified by pageant organizers for waving at beauty queens he bumped into in their hotel lobby. "Kwame is intelligent, charming and we were really looking forward to him judging on our panel," pageant president Paula Shugart said in a statement. "But his interaction with the delegates, albeit unintentional,...

The NBC project would document Rancic's year working for Donald Trump, overseeing the construction of a 90-story Trump International Hotel and Tower on the site of the Chicago Sun-Times building (where Rancic may soon move into his very own office alongside the Trump Tower sales force and residential unit model). Burnett also hinted that former contestants from "The Apprentice" might be hired as Rancic's employees, and that Trump would be demanding regular progress reports.

According to Extra!, Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks NBA team, made a "huge job offer" to Kwame after Bill Rancic was hired by Trump instead of Kwame. Kwame told Extra! that Cuban had waited for hours at The Apprentice after-show cast party before finally cornering Kwame so that he could make the offer. Cuban is an honest American success story. Born middle-class in Pittsburgh, Cuban went to Indiana University, where he honed his sales skills. After graduation, he started a computer consulting company -- although he knew nothing about computers. However, by a combination of his...

If you are hooked on NBC's "The Apprentice," chances are you hold some pretty strong opinions about Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, the black woman who was recently fired on the reality TV show. To say that Omarosa, a stunningly attractive woman, rubbed some of her colleagues on the show the wrong way is to put it mildly. Still, early in Omarosa's 15 minutes of fame, I was rooting for her to win it all. After watching Omarosa calmly deflect her opponents' criticism in the boardroom -- leaving them speechless -- I was convinced she had the skills to become the strongest leader....

CHICAGO -- Some prefer their coffee with a dash of cream and sugar and others just want it black. As for those intense coffee drinkers, preferences for coffee have become a little more difficult. As hundreds of delegates, members of the media, and convention-goers discovered in August at the Democratic National Convention, Cain's passion for coffee goes beyond mere caffeine craving.
