@DVATW Mark Steyn has been a brave and courageous voice for many years. He has suffered several cardiac incidents since taking the jabs and appears to be white in the hair and confined to a wheelchair. This is very sad to see and I hope he can recover.

It’s just the flu, bro. One of the best ways to keep the pandemic going is to use tests with a high false positive rate coupled with mandatory testing. Force 1000 people to take a test and if you get 50 false positives then you have a perpetual lockdown. Apparently some tests have low false positives (nasal swab) and some have higher false positives (antibody). - If you are wondering how much people who live and were raised in a western democracy would be willing to give up their freedoms due to COVID then I think the state of Victoria...

Have you ever noticed that every great drinking story begins with the same word? This word takes you from Point A to Point B of your drunken folly, solving mysteries and creating legends. It allows for explanations of your behavior and gives cause to inebriated effect. The word begins with the letter “A,” but it is not alcohol. Alcohol has enough synonyms going for it: booze, hooch, firewater, go-go juice, liquor, Dutch courage, red-eye, rotgut and devil’s mouthwash to name a few. Nope. The word that is the genesis for all the best drunk tales I have either heard or...

Sleep with Neanderthals? Apparently we (homo Sapiens) did By Faye Flam The Philadelphia Inquirer Though it's been 150 years since mysteriously humanlike bones first turned up in Germany's Neander Valley, the find continues to shake our collective sense of human identity. Neanderthals are humanity's closest relatives, with brains at least as big as ours, and yet we don't know whether we should include them as members of our own species. No longer does science consider them our direct ancestors but some suspect Neanderthals and modern homo Sapiens interbred during the 20,000 some-odd years we co-existed in Europe. The archaeological record...

Wrapped in their own version of cognitive dissonance, the liberal national media will not ask any tough questions of the Kerry campaign. So, I guess I'll have to get totally politically incorrect for a moment and ask a question many people are starting to wonder about: If John Kerry announced tomorrow that he intended to switch to the Socialist or Communist party, how would his platform change? Really, that's not as nasty of a question as it may seem when we study the cold hard facts. After all, let's face it, not only does it look as if the Democratic...
