RUSH: Now, the Poway synagogue shooting. Once again, there has been a shooting by a guy who hates Trump. The shooter here hates Trump and hates conservatives and calls both of them, us and Trump, vile names. Yet the Democrats and the media still trying to blame Trump and conservatives for the shooting! Meanwhile, anti-Semitism has totally taken over the Democrat Party, and do you know how they’re disguising it? They’re using opposition to Israel as their platform for full-fledged, universal anti-Semitism, including and led by the New York Times. It’s a strange juxtaposition, because America’s left-wing Jewish population is...

It used to be that we were told that Trump was fostering “Trump antisemitism” and driving a new wave of antisemitism in the US. But the cartoon depicts him as a Jew. Well, which is it? Is he fostering antisemitism, or is he now a closet Jew being led by Israel, depicted as a Jewish dog? We used to say that images “conjured up memories” of 1930s antisemitism. This didn’t conjure it up; this showed us exactly what it looked like. ... This isn’t like some story of unclear antisemitism. This isn’t a dog whistle. This is a dog. This...

"We are deeply sorry for the publication of an anti-Semitic political cartoon last Thursday in the print edition of The New York Times that circulates outside of the United States, and we are committed to making sure nothing like this happens again," the opinion section tweeted Sunday. "Such imagery is always dangerous, and at a time when anti-Semitism is on the rise worldwide, it's all the more unacceptable," continued the apology, which was widely shared on Twitter. The new apology said that the decision to run the syndicated cartoon was made by a single editor working without adequate oversight.

Easter worshippers who opened Thursday’s copy of the International Edition of the New York Times were treated to a cartoon to warm the cockles of white supremacists, Islamists and lovers of ‘Edelweiss’ everywhere. The cartoon, apparently by a Portuguese artist named Antonio Antunes Moreira of Espresso, depicted a blind Donald Trump, resplendent in the kippah he wears at all times except when the cameras are near, being led by Benjamin Netanyahu in the form of a sausage dog, wearing the Star of David dog collar that all sausage dogs wear. Some people published something, and now all those over-sensitive Jews...
