Free Republic

I am not sure what happened, but starting yesterday morning on Winblows7, I can NOT connect to Free Republic with Firefox or Internet Explorer, If I use Brave it connects as Unsecure but it won't let me log in, it times out, I can scroll and read only. Firefox will only connect if I point it to the IP address and allow the cert exception, but it Won't let me Log in either. NO Problem with Any Other websites?? It is a dual boot machine, so I am using Ubuntu right now and everything works like it is supposed to????...

Hate posting vanities, but I'm having some odd internet troubles today and wonder if anyone else is having the same. I'm in East Texas on Suddenlink. Can access Google, some Google related sites, and FR, but not much else (in fact nothing else for the last few minutes). Anyone seeing the same? .... and now Google isn't accessible. Curious to see if this will actually post.

Sometimes when I use spell check, every word is highlighted as being incorrect. It just happened again, so I looked at the properties of the page, but I don't know what any of it means. Are there any technical people who could tell me what it says? Also, does this happen to any of you? Are you having any other strange problems?

My 9 yr old son, who thought he knew everything, plugged in a cd game that informed him he needed 256 color. He knew enough to right click on the desktop and that's where everything went wrong ... Okay. I just joined recently and I posted a topic and for some odd reason I got thrown out. See, Im a conservative and so on and I was just feeling... well... how can you call this freerepublic.com and go around nailing people for expressing their views? Isn'tthis what they do in Marxist and Muslim countrys? Why say free republic and then blast someone off just because they posted somthing they felt expressed their beliefs? It doesn't make any sense.

The purpose of FreeRepublic.com's multiple message boards is to limit the topics for each board to particular topics. Posting the same message on all the boards defeats the purpose of multiple-boards for special topics. It is very annoying to see the same message on every bulletin board. PLEASE! DO THE READERS A FAVOR. STOP CROSS-POSTING YOUR MESSAGES!

All pictures and logos on the world wideweb disappeared at 4:15 easter until 4:20 EST. I check France, Spain, Germany, America, and Japan. American contacts confirmed this also.

What is wrong with freerepublic.com? First the web site address dosent work and now I cant get back to my old preferences! All I see are the latest articles with the full body under it. Its very annoying...is this going to be temporary? If not, can someone tell me how to chnge it to where I see only the latest posts?
