Hate posting vanities, but I'm having some odd internet troubles today and wonder if anyone else is having the same. I'm in East Texas on Suddenlink.
Can access Google, some Google related sites, and FR, but not much else (in fact nothing else for the last few minutes).
Anyone seeing the same?
.... and now Google isn't accessible. Curious to see if this will actually post.
My Scamcast has been going offline every so often for a few days but I think that’s a local issue.
No problems here in SW New Mexico, so far - I’ve been lurking FR, and streaming HULU.com on another browser all day without a hiccup...
hmmmm, I'm in Northwest Oakland County and have been having a lot of issues with Comcast since the large storm on July 4th.
Must be more than just local.
Probably something going on with your provider.
No problems west of you. In fact, pages are loading faster than normal.
Could it be that your provider is switching over to something called IPv6? It’s a new communications format, and there are supposed to be hiccups in getting everything working right. That might explain why some sites are working and others not.
Seems to be back again. Thanks. /thread
California foothills, having major cell problems. AT&T
Suddenlink user here in WV. I had the same exact problem just a bit ago. Just unplug your modem, wait a few minutes, plug back in. Problem solved. They actually sent an email out a few days ago explaining that this would happen.
Could be a problem with your provider.
Sometimes, after my cable co works on the Internet feed, I have to reboot the desktop computer, the laptop, the modem and the router.
No problems here in E Tx
I’m in OK on Suddenlink and I had some problems with my connection earlier this afternoon, but it seems fine now. Could have just been my wireless router though.
And I thought Suddenlink was in Czechoslovakia?
Yep. Suddenlink here in WV has had the hiccups for a couple of days now. I first thought my puter had died a natural death.
Ahem, let me get out my roll of tinfoil and (pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!!!) shape it thusly, as to divert the M-Rays from damaging my cerebral cortex.
Ah, much better!!
Charter internet acted up for a couple hours too. It was routine maintenance. You say you have a manatee? I, too.
