Every year I stock up on Aldis point cut corned beef which is ALWAYS on sale in the weeks leading up to St. Patrick's Day for only $1.99/lb. It's been $1.99/lb for years including this time last year when it went on sale.So today I got a sneak peek at an Aldis ad which you can see below and that same product is now $2.99/lb. Aldi has landed in hot water after selling black pudding that contained pork, which is forbidden in Islam. The supermarket has apologised for stocking the item which lists among its ingredients pork blood, pork skins and pork stock.
