This morning I went to TJ's only to see the sidewalk in front of the store loaded with young people holding signs that read "Traitor Joe's", "Duquesnes Students for Fair Food", and "Fair Wages, Fair Food". I thought "WTH?" and as i approached the entrance, I was confronted by two college students (one wearing a North Face jacket) who told me that the "workers in Florida who pick the tomatoes sold by Trader Joes, like, don't get paid enough, like hardly anything". I told this little punk that most of those "workers" are in the U.S. illegally, that he should get a part time job to help his parents pay for college since he apparently has free time, and he needs to stop being a useful idiot. His response to me? "Oh yeah? Well, does your family come to Trader Joe's legally, lady?" Huh?
We all know that college tuition buys one lots of socialist indoctrination. I just thought you'd all apprecitate a shing example of such. Enjoy.

No harm no foul . . . it’s not easy to recover with an encounter with a total asshat liberal college kid who has all the answers.
Tell the kid if he's so concerned... he should start a company and, then, he can pay these people as much as he want to.
If there weren’t so many illegals pouring over the border, the people who pick fruit and vegetables would get paid more. New illegals are displacing the old illegals. The college student, who was no doubt there to get laid, probably doesn’t understand that his tuition is higher because illegals get cut rates, not that he pays any of it anyhow.
Hilarious but not... yes, Grove City is a fantastic college. One of my dear friends is a graduate. Sharp as a tack even at age 21 and now I know why that happened.
I love the comments you made about working to pay for college. LOL. They literally have nothing to do but cause trouble. And don’t forget that a lot of these little activist idiots get paid to be idiots. I’ve seen the ads in the paper.

Damn. Didn’t make my weekly trip to TJ’s today. I’ll have to make the effort to go tomorrow, to pick up some tomatoes.
I’ve got 2 here in Hollywood CA, 5 minutes in each direction. Those college kids are the weak-minded morons who were dumb enough to succumb on their socialist teacher’s drivel.
Reminds me of my mandatory class in Social Studies where we literally had to live in a shack under the bridge for 2 days to feel the “plight of the poor people” (or some lib nonsense).
My Filipino classmate stood up and said “I lived most of my life in a 3rd world sh*thole before my parents got the nerve to give me a better opportunity in America, why do I need to re-live something from which my family escaped from?” Let’s just say hippie doofys professor was stunned.
From a fellow Pittsburgher, these kids need to get a job.
Remind her tha ttrees are nothing but a slow growing crop. Watch her head explode as she tries in vain for a comeback.
