Has anyone else noticed that Youtube is at it again, trying to block users who use an adblocker? The past several days have been hit and miss. About the only way I've been able to get around it is one of two ways: 1. to save videos to Watch Later, close the browser, then reopen the browser to view them, or 2. delete all cookies and cache and then log back in. But either of these two fixes are temporary because it happens almost every day now. Has anyone seen this, and have a newer fix for this? Thanks.

Aurora police are investigating a shooting on Interstate 225 after a vehicle drove through protesters marching on the highway Saturday evening. The protests began as a call for justice for Elijah McClain, who died after Aurora police officers put him in a chokehold nearly one year ago. The police said a protester fired a weapon — eyewitnesses said that firing may have been aimed at the driver — hitting another protester, who was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Witnesses reported a second protestor was also shot. A third person was injured after she jumped or fell off a...

Many of the world’s largest Internet companies, like Google and Facebook, rely heavily on advertising to finance their online empires. But that business model is increasingly coming under threat, with one in five smartphone users, or almost 420 million people worldwide, blocking advertising when browsing the web on cellphones. That represents a 90 percent annual increase, according to a new report from PageFair, a start-up that helps to recoup some of this lost advertising revenue, and Priori Data, a company that tracks smartphone applications. The use of ad-blocking software has divided the online world. Supporters say it allows people to...

The nation's struggling media, which has gone all-in on digital platforms to stay alive, now faces a new threat, easy-to-install ad blockers that are expected to wipe out $20 billion in all online publishing revenue next year, according to a sobering new report. The group PageFair, which helps publishers fight ad blocking, revealed that the use of the money-robbing practice has surged in the United States and globally, and is expected to cost U.S. online publishers and advertising-supported sites $10.7 billion in "unrealized revenue" this year. That is expected to double next year. The report said that ad blocking is...
