She is definitely not ready for her close-up. A stylish woman in heels and a leather jacket used scissors to stab an amateur photographer who accidently captured an image of her as he took photos in the West Village, cops said. The sunglasses and dress-wearing brunette flew into a Britney Spears-level paparazzi rage on Varick Street near West Houston Street around 4:20 p.m. May 5 as the 36-year-old victim was out shooting images for social media. First, she slugged him on his shoulder — before flashing a pair of scissors and stabbing him in the back, police said. The woman...

When Ohio Senator JD Vance was briefing the press earlier today, he was asked about East Palestine residents being required to sign indemnity waivers, releasing Norfolk Southern Railway from legal liability, as a requirement of having their water/air tests conducted on their property. Senator Vance said he talked to a resident about it, then reviewed the contract and confirmed the indemnity demand. The government of South Korea confirmed on Wednesday that a short-range missile fired in an attempted response to North Korea flying its own projectile over Japan this week crashed into a local golf course, causing panic among South Korean civilians. Pyongyang launched what American and South Korean officials believe to be a medium-range missile on Tuesday that flew over Aomori prefecture, Japan, causing alarm in that northern region and the neighboring island of Hokkaido. At press time, the repressive communist regime has yet to publicly comment on the missile launch or mention it in state-controlled media, meaning most North Koreans...

The funniest part of this is that even now, after more than two years of heavy breathing from liberal media about how extremely extremist those extreme tea partiers are, the Democratic brain trust still needs a heads up on how properly to smear budget-cutting conservatives. I always figured they just committed a bunch of pejoratives to memory during their orientation as members of Congress for use forevermore: “Extremist,” “radical,” “fringe,” “dangerous,” “heartless,” and of course old reliable, “out of touch.” At least we know now, though, why Schumer’s considered a likely eventual successor to Reid as majority leader. Evidently, he’s...

Paper accidentally publishes losing editorial Friday, October 17, 2003 Associated Press NEW YORK -- The curse of the Bambino struck the New York Post, too. On the morning after the New York Yankees vanquished the Boston Red Sox to win the American League pennant, some editions of the Post carried an editorial bemoaning a loss for the Bronx Bombers. "The Yankees couldn't get the job done," read the editorial. "...The hitting fell short and the bullpen simply didn't deliver. It's a crying shame that Roger Clemens' career had to end on a losing note." Clemens, the Yankees' 41-year-old pitcher, will...
